I still like the original PSX version best. Yes, the others might look better graphically, but I think the PSX captures the mood of this game the best way. It's more colorful and lively, giving the game a more cartoonish fell, and that's the game's stroy - it's a cartoon. PSP is too monotone, greyish and the close perspective of course gives way less impression of the world. Of course this was needed for the PSP's small display, but it still ils a deficiency. The PS4 version is just detailed but sterile.
The PSP version sticked the perfect balance. The PS4 version looks good, however, it looks too clinical and it looks like so many Unreal Engine Games out there...😪

La versión de Psp tiene la mejor banda sonora y la historia aunque no parezca todo tan oscuro creo que en general es mejor que el original. Siempre vamos a idealizar las primeras versiones porque la nostalgia es básicamente una deformación idílica de la realidad pero la versión de Psp no tenía nada que envidiar.

Or maybe they aren't doing so because the PS4 will have better performance on release. Idk. You should watch the other video if you didn't. You will get a better idea of what's going on.

But generally it has a mix between a monkey island and a disney vibe wich adds up to a great game. You should just try it again as it's own game, not comparing it to the original and I am sure you will get why people dig it for the game it itself is. It's part of the ps4 gamepass you get with ps online anyway rn. You can easily try it out for free

No, the PSP is a kind of remake of the original but adding minor elements such as updated soundtrack and new UI. Were as the PS4 is a complete faithful remake of the original. No changes besides updated graphics.

I don't like the purple glow in the ps4 version, the rest looks great.
The skybox in the og MediEvil was also purple so they tried to overhaul it with a more magical, Fairy tale like but spooky feel at the same time
