Ben, could you please discuss changes in Keeper kit over the years? From trackies, to padded shorts and sleeves, to short sleeve jerseys - You’ve been around to see it all. Have changes in gloves made much of a difference? I imagine the different balls could be spoken about at length. Those Mitre cup rocks, versus Adidas Jabulanis.

Still remember How exotic it seemed for goalies to wear short sleeves. Next moment everyone wears em, I’d never really thought about that. When did all that happen?

I will try to be short:Better pitches-trackies,padded sleeves went in history...Comfort is the answer too... Gloves are much better today then just five years ago... Materials,cuts,grip,comfort are much much better then ever before...

He was Great for us in the Europa League. Made some big saves
His kicking was his obvious weakness, shame as he was decent otherwise.
Always had a lot of respect for rob from his time up in Newcastle.
Top bloke and was a massively underrated keeper, saved us loads of times throughout his time up here.

Love all the pods but especially the ones with professional footballers! As a Bournemouth fan I remember Rob having the absolute game of his career against us a few years ago so was waiting for him to mention it - one of the best individual displays from a GK I’ve seen live 👍🏻

This is my favourite podcast. I don’t care how big time a player is rob elliot has done one of the best podcast I’ve ever listened too. One of the best down to earth guys I’ve ever listened to and as a keeper who lives in a council house and stuff it’s nice to know the reason why one glove are so cheap yet so good. He is a top guy and I’ve honestly developed so much respect for the guy since this 👍
You can just tell Robo is so down to earth seems like a top top bloke. Great pod fozzy!

What a great guy. Really enjoyed the Podcast (fozcast). Love listening to the GK’s like Aaron Ramsdale the other week. I was a GK, I was always not tall enough but had to go in goals at under 14’s as our keeper got sent off. From then I was hooked. My idol was Les Sealey, proper keeper he was. I played local football till about 38, but when I played I just loved having shots at me, when opposing teams were attacking I hoped they would get through and have a shot 😂, I did encourage my defenders to close and no shot or crosses but in my head at the time wanted them to let them have a shot.
