@@reactwithelena oh awesome! Epica is such a truly phenomenal band with such talent and regrettably they’ve lived under the shadow of Nightwish for way too long. I like Nightwish too but they’ve gotten to “poppish” for me last few years and have never been as heavy as Epica and I love what Epica brings to the ears and soul! Often meaningful lyrics to their songs, lotta thought out into them.
@@jonathanratliff4780 I agree with you, Epica puts a lot of effort and thought into their songs. A great example would be their recent video with Apocalyptica Rise Again about breaking out of a bad relationship. The lyrics, visuals, and the entire production of this song is a masterpiece! Another overlooked band, in my opinion, is Visions of Atlantis, great musicians and powerful melodic sound!
