This song helped me go through the last 4 months, I got into a very deep depression from stress at work, I left work crying every day. And I made my mind to leave a few days ago and quit. I have my family to support me and my loved ones with me. I did rise again. Thank you for this.
I am in the same place my friend. I am glad you found solace as I have in the voice of this wonderful woman, I hope you are in a better place now. Simone has a way of taking me out of the now and putting my mind somewhere far superior to the reality of my actual situation. I could spout all sorts of superlatives, but at the end of the day, life is better with Simone singing in the back ground.
Simone levels up as she's aging. Her performance here is just mindblowing. To my ears she improved so much over the years that she's simply the best in the genre today. The quality of her tone is unmatched.

Ahhh! Saw this with my own eyes in Lisbon... what a beautiful moment. Simone's voice was echoing through the theatre and the performance was pitch perfect! Even her dress was a perfect match to add to the wow effect!

Actualmente el talento no cuenta ya que lo vulgar es lo que mueve el dinero, es lamentable que artistas de este calibre no tengan el reconocimiento que merecen.
De las mejores voces que podré escuchar no hay duda.
Notice how they show THE OLD GUYS in the audience... I'm 66. I started with cello in the mid 60s. Pablo Casals and regular nights out to the symphony hall with the family were my inspiration. Now I'm a big fan of both these bands and of most folk, symphonic and doom metal especially. I fall burning and hazard trees in forest fires, drive extreme haul trucks at a gold mine, ride exotic Italian motorbikes and I'm taking up wingsuiting.

Life is precious and life is short. Just having a body and walking upon this unlikely world itself is miraculous. Need not be reckless or ruthless, but focus, work hard, live your life with gusto, go all-out for your dreams and believe me, amazing things can happen.

Good Lord yesssss!!! I experienced this one two days ago in Cologne and I was in tears what a great ballad with one of my two absolute favourite female vocalists! Simone is extremely talented!! And u guys Apocalyptica have a new fan! Greetings from an Epican in the Netherlands!

SO beautiful. Simone, you make me cry all the time. Over a decade ago I saw you perform Tides of Time live and I was blubbering in the audience. You sang it so perfectly. It was AWESOME. Your voice is angelic and you are a true vocalist because you don't just sing the song beautifully, you deliver the emotion and it goes straight to my heart.

I was at this show….😍not a peep from anyone in the crowd, we were all just feeling this beautiful moment!! Easily the single best concert moment I have experienced….watching this back still gives me butterflies!!

This is simple an astonishing performance from the guys from Apocalyptica and Simone Simons with her mesmerizing voice!.......I usually type a whole Bible here to describe how awesome and incredible a performance or a song I watched/listened to by a certain artist or band I admire is but I gotta say I'm speechless now.......I'm not a great fan of Apocalyptica (I'm still a fan of them though) but an Epica fan and the fact these guys invited Simone to participate on this song and now play this masterpiece and deliver such an incredible performance like this one is simply amazing........Simone's voice is just unmatchable.
I wonder: will I ever be able to hear this song without getting goosebumps? I don't think I ever will and I hope I never will, such a beautiful combination. I was slightly disappointed this one didn't make the setlist in the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels, though Epica's "Rivers" featuring Apocalyptica was just as great and a memory to be forever cherised in my music-loving heart.

It's frightening, but once the D word was said and she meant it: I knew I had to let her go and accept her need to find her own path. I cannot control what becomes of her choices, but I will rise again and always love her for what we made before.
