Would this be a good fit for a male lab?
I think you could absolutely put a lab in here. It's easy enough to remove the partition wall if need be. Without the partition the lab should be comfortable. Try it with the partition first if you like just to see if the dog has any trouble getting to the second room.
How loud is that unit? I'm wanting to get one for my dogs but I'm concerned about the noise.
It's quiet enough I think. I didn't measure decibel level. It's quieter than a white noise sleep machine in the bedroom though. It took some getting used to for the dog since he'd never had a fan before with noise. But now I see him in there in the mornings. Sometimes he sleeps so soundly in there next to it I have to call his name to wake him up.
