Hello, Wondered if you could answer a question regarding detection area. In the exclusion area (non red) people passing the gate are activating the camera detection and sending a notification to my phone. How do I correct this? Also my dog keeps activating the sensor, is it possible to exclude him from detection too? Thanks John
Hi Bro.. Ur Step-Step Setup guide is really good.. But personally I’m having a problem at the Internet connection stage as it shows red dots next to cameras connected and when I bring the mouse to the red dot it shows as invalid username or password and not sure how to troubleshoot it.. can you pls help.. Thanks
Can anyone help m8 I have been quoted for dahua 5mp set up on my house fitted in the hose I have a dahua recording box but the cams that he has put up are s pro are these a cheaper alternative cam basically has he had pants down
Hello sir , we have bought a property with dasua cameras already been installed. Previous owner left nvr for us . He didn’t give us login details or anything. My question is how can I reset it factory settings and is he still can watch us remotely on his mobile app ?please enlighten me asap . Thanking you

@@koreanmakjang3072 That would be a number of reasons. Depending on the NVR range, we can add certain number of IVS rules. You need to check the specs before adding IVS rules(tripwire, intrusion,FD,FR) If IVS is not the cause then try lowering frame rate or enable compression in case of DVR for Smart MD.
@@DevineShrine Thanks for the advice. However the IVS feature is off and the frame rate is at 20fps. Is that still high it was initially at 30fps. Moreover, the NVR allows only one channel for facial detection and recognition but it keeps displaying the error despite only switching one channel on for Facial detection and all other - A.I, IVS, SMD- being turned off. I tried to reset the NVR but the error was still popping up. Is there any way I can fix it?
@@koreanmakjang3072 Try factory resetting the camera itself, that is the only other solution i can think of. Our last resort will be contacting Dahua support(www.dahuasecurity.com/au/aboutUs/contactUs) depending on the country. Sorry was not able to help much.

In network settings keep it to DHCP dnt need to do anything else. This seems more of password issue. If so you can reset it 2 ways. try forget password on NVR and it will send the link to assigned email. or other is if your Recorder supports rest button. Reset button is usually found inside, you need to unscrew 4 screws and remove the lid. There will be a black button motherboard. Press for 15 seconds it should reset it. and follow czcams.com/video/50zYTULm3bA/video.html to do a proper setup.

does accessing the NVR from the web reduce some features originally displayed in when the screen is directly connected to the NVR?
Web interface has more features than NVR itself. As installer we use web interface more often than NVR itself.
