Artist Bio: Warm Gadget is a duo that defies genre boundaries, blending alternative metal, noise, and industrial elements. Consisting of multi-instrumentalist/producer Colten Williams and vocalist/lyricist/sampler Tim Vester with a revolving door of other musicians who come and go and come back again.
In 2017, Warm Gadget took a three-year hiatus to immerse themselves in the world of film music production. During this period, they honed their skills and contributed their creative talents to various film and video projects, enhancing their understanding of sonic storytelling.
With a notable discography, Warm Gadget has consistently pushed creative boundaries:
'Brides' (2014): This album, released in 2014, was a daring mix of sludgy metal, grunge, and industrial elements. It showcased Warm Gadget's ability to craft a dynamic and immersive musical experience that combined heavy, gritty textures with a unique sonic palette.
"Hollowmas III" (2015): In 2015, Warm Gadget released the instrumental EP 'Hollowmas III' on Component Recordings, further showcasing their versatility and experimentation within the realm of electronic, film music and industrial music.
'Rituals' (2021): After their hiatus, Warm Gadget returned in 2021 with 'Rituals', which marked a return to their industrial sound. This EP offered a captivating fusion of alternative metal and industrial music, featuring five original tracks along with remixes by acclaimed electronic artists like Snowbeasts and Witch Eyes.
For those who appreciate the sonic landscapes of Helmet, Dillinger Escape Plan, Ministry, Skinny Puppy, Nine Inch Nails, Faith No More and Deadsy, Warm Gadget's music is a compelling blend of hard-hitting rhythms, electronic beats, synth melodies, and powerful guitar work.
