- The final day of this mission and we hit the main river that has now dropped and is fishable again. We got the weather, the conditions seem good, now all we have to do is find and catch a fish!!
The fish in this catchment are super tough to fool and even finding one is no easy task so you definitely have to bring your A game or you can very easily be going home with your tail between your legs!

Great job, especially landing that fish. That one was making a run to the sea! Must be pretty much peak season for you now. Can't wait for more fine productions. My son and I each broke a rod on our NZ trip, and I was glad we had a spare.

Fantastic video. Good job chasing and landing that fish down stream. Beautiful big Browns. By the way I purchased a pair of those Orvis Pro Wading boots you use. They are the best boots I've had in my past 50 years of fly fishing.
That was a great tussle and one for long stories in the bar with beers afterwards. The quality of the fish in that river is outstanding.

I've offered you this advice before, but after watching you slink through that nasty brush I will say it again...carry your rods backwards so as to avoid having to fish it through all those limbs and shit in your path. You'll make much better time and struggle a lot less, without fear of breaking anything or getting hung up!! Keep these great videos coming!!!
