Welcome to the Magfamily Andrew, we are excited about the future. To respond to the DIY and tool enthusiasts we have to engage and listen to what people want. We know magnets from simple to complex robotics Ind 4.0, but having access to this form of exposure to end users is in-valuable. Whilst our business has grown significantly, its been away from the Wood/weld DIY/maker markets. However we will never lose sight of the heritage value and loyalty that Magswitch has found in this market, from day 1, in 2005. We have literally looked for six years to find the right person to invigorate, what we do in this space. If we cannot Innovate and provide premium quality products, we do nothing. As you have seen in recent months, "nothing" has ended, I am personally very excited about what I see in the pipeline. Thank you!
Thanks David, I'm excited to be on board and for everything we can get do!
Well now there's no reason to not get a powerfeed. This is great because I can move it between tools without needing to drill mounting holes in every tool I want power feed on. Ordered a kit and congrats on the change, Andy!
The truth is that Cremona is just getting the power feeder so that he can ride it around the shop
Been here since the beginning. You have a once in a generation mind. God bless you and your family and Godspeed on your new ventures.
You’re killing it Andy. Looking forward you what comes next.
Congrats Andy. That had to be a tough decision. You are smart enough and been around the game long enough to do the right thing. We are wishing you all the best and are looking forward to seeing what you have in store for your channel

Congratulations Andy
Congrats.
That's so exciting! Can't wait to see what you can do with even more time to dedicate to woodworking/tools.
Great concept. My only concern is that people ready to invest $500 in a base +$XXX(X) in a mobile Power Feeder may also be the people who can afford a high-end table saw which can be configured to have one from the start. But I might be wrong and there could be a nice niche in between.
$500 was the retail value of my saw when sold new, I paid less for used. But even at new prices, just drill 4 holes in your saw. It can handle it. I would want to use this on the router table, too, which is wood. I'd be having to mess with the bolts anyway. Even if drilling is out of the question, I feel like there's a lot of ways around spending $500 for some magnets.
Good luck with the new job
You are true genius!
Congratulations on your new position.
Congratulations on the new career move, you are very talented and have a great future. I work in the Cooling Tower Industry and have worked with Cargill, hope you enjoy something outside of fructose and corn alcohol!
Congratulations
Andy, what's the max weight this magnetic feeder mount will hold? I'm looking at the 1/4 hp grizzly which is almost 80lbs
Nice idea. I'd bought a power feed to install on a Robland x31 combination woodworking machine. I've rigged it to work both for the spindle moulder, and the table saw. There are two different mount platforms installed on the machine both made from plywood with 4 metal threaded inserts to bolt the power feed to. One of the platforms doubles as an outfeed table. The magnetic base would be quicker to install and remove. That is one of the drawbacks of bolting it down. However, if you are using a power feed it's normally because there is a fair amount of timber to be processed.
Yes, I see this as a solution for a smaller single table saw shop that does occasionally need to process a lot of boards.
Great presentation. As usual. Always enjoy them.
where can i buy the magnetic mounting system for power feeder
Andrew, I heard Mad Switch is in the production stage of building a base for a power feeder . I have a Shop Fox W1767-1 power feeder , will it work with it ?
I tried the link to magswitch for the base kit (May 2022) and found it to be a dead link. Searching the entire magswitch website, I couldn't find the kit or even the magnetic components for this kit (so I could build it myself). Can you help?
I cannot seem to find this mag kit anywhere. Any suggestions
Andrew,
Do you think this will work with larger powerfeeders? I have a comatic dc40 that I have mounted on my shaper, but would love to move to the table saw or the band saw. Mine has the sg13 stand and the footprint is approx 5.25" x 6".
Hi Paul, thanks for the question, I think we might take this one off CZcams if that’s ok, could you email me at inkleind2303@gmail.com to discuss in more detail?
Congratulations, that's so awesome that they recognized the obvious move. So many companies don't understand talent when they see it, plus they're magnets, I mean magnets are magic and nobody understands them, so you are basically a wizard now. Totally. Lol.
That’s a very elegant non-evasive solution.
I cannot find the magnet kit anywhere, is it not for sale anymore?
Congrats Andy! I just discovered this last night and have a question. It looks like your build as well as builds in the other videos you linked were all using the 1/8 HP baby power feeders. Will this base be able to handle a 1/4 HP feeder? They look to be about 50 pounds heavier than the 1/8 HP models.
Hello, Is this still available? I want one!
Are they no longer making the powerfeed kit?
What hp power feeder is that? 1/8 hp?
Awesome news on your job change.
Also, what is the Power Feeder you use? I can't find a name to it.
I have a larger 1 hp powermatic powerfeeder. Do you think it will be able to hold that much weight?
I think it will work but stay tuned, we are testing it, check back in a few weeeks
Thank you! Will do!
Terrific stuff and congrats on the change! Assuming you want to do it for a long time.... Please, please, please wear a respirator....
Congrats on the promotion! Hopefully this will mean some more time with family also.
Out of curiosity do you think this setup could support a 1/4 HP feeder, or am I asking for trouble? Keep up the excellent work!
Awesome to see an easily removable power feeder. My only concern is the post-sales support. I'm still waiting on confirmation if the files for the bandsaw featherboard 3D files are being updated. Mag Switch requested pictures and got silence after I sent that. I spoke with you about them and nothing after sending the info. Don't get me wrong, I love Magswitch and all of your own products; separately, great service; combined, something is lacking at the moment.
Congratulation on going full time.
Thank you!
How Many HP is the power feeder you are using?
DAVID MARTIN it’s the Grizzly Baby Powerfeeder 1/8 HP.
Can you use it with a larger power feeder?
you can use it with a bit larger one like this: www.grizzly.com/products/Grizzly-1-HP-Power-Feeder/G4181
Wow ! ! ! 👍👍👍👍👍👏✊💪😎
Congrats Andy!!! That's a big loss for them, and a great gain for magwitch. Hope you guys are doing well!!
Thanks man, we are good, hope all is well with you also!
And to think i was just going to ask if your tool ventures was a full time job
It is now!
Fascinating concept.
Genuine question though, why describe the force as 1,000 Lbs, when other units like stones, or hundredweight would be much more suitable?
Is it just because defining it in pounds makes it sound like more because bigger number, or do americans only know the pound unit, and not any other imperial weight measurements?
Thanks, I’m not trying to inflate the force, Lbs is just what we use
Hi Andrew 👍
Hello!
Did this product die on the vine? Links are 404…

I'm shocked that worked! I hung a 1hp off my ceiling so it's not mounted on my saw and I could swing it out of the way.
They are serious magnets!
Andy, I'm going to need a new job too if we keep this up! The coding for the "Download PDF Receipt" button is broken. Just thought they should know. Edit: Windows 7 Pro (64 Bit) / Chrome Version 80.0.3987.132 (Official Build) (64-bit)
I saw your purchase, man, you have really been a big supporter, thank you, hope the power feeder capability works great for you and appreciate the heads up on the receipt
the entire time it's been a perpetual mag tools commercial. getting obvious over time lmao
Wrong, this channel is clearly also an Inkleind commercial

the magnetic power feeder mounting system
Disappointing - it looks like Mag switch no longer sells either the kit of the specific magnet used in this video.
Субтитры.
The only real hazard I see is forgetting to engage one of the magnets. If you forget both, the power feed probably wouldn't function well enough to keep going with it.
congrats on exiting corporate america!
I thought Colorado was still America...?
4 of the same videos in one day. Lol
This stand is 300 hahaha what the hell
