Wow Man! 2 meter wide would be really big, make sure you have good thick nylon string. I guess you will be required around 7ft 6inch side stick, 6 feet for middle one & 3ft 6inch for upper stick to place horizontally. Good Luck.

Also instead of kite paper could I use ripstop nylon, I want to make a kite for a contest and make sure that it is possible to do so before I buy the products, anything you suggest? Would it be better If I just used kite paper, I want the kite to be durable and to work when I go to the beach with high winds and I would like it to go high?

Check the description bro. Use old Umbrella cloth, instead of kite paper, if you want Durability.

These are bamboo sticks, you need to make them as per your kite size.

This kite need medium thick sticks and broom sticks are very thin, so it may not fly well, But you can try.

I still have doubts, do you place all the way up until its tight( so that the longer sticks at the sides are sperad out) or do you simply place so that its tight but not so firm?
Could I make the sticks have small foothole like thing so that gets stuck in the proper place.

Yes you can but it would a bit heavier if u use craft paper.
