  • FINALLY A Camping Road Trip on My Harley Davidson Street Bob 114!! Getting a second chance at camping with my Harley Street Bob. Last time I had to take my Harley Sportster Camping since the Street Bob wouldn't start! We'll take the street bob on a camping trip up to the Poconos in Pennsylvania and also Stop at Pocono Mountain Harley Davidson on the way back!

Good to see another Street Bob owner who isn't afraid of color. I bought the 2022 Street Bob in fastback blue and have received more compliments on that bike than any other bike I've ever owned. Also, I often ride gravel and dirt so I put Pirelli MT60s on the Street Bob. Noticeable traction increases on dirt roads, but road noise starts around 45-50 mph on the street.

Love moto camping….and you don’t need an adventure bike to have off road adventures

why sacrifice that if you don't have to? a cardo and a phone mount go a long way on those heavy mile trips. definitely don't need some giant bagger with massive speakers and a tv screen sitting in your fairing tho i agree on that.

I have a 22 red bob too. I regularly ride about 1 hour to work. Never thought I wanted music or a phone mount but.... On longer trips to places you haven't been (or alternate route for traffic and road closures) a phone mount and headset are great bc you can set your GPS and visually see it and hear it when you need directions. Plus sometimes I just wanna listen to a podcast or music on longer rides. A phone mount or headset doesn't make it any closer to a car. It's more of a safety thing. The music can keep you awake and alert and the GPS will help you avoid traffic which on a bike is kinda dangerous with all the idiots frustrated bc it's slow and let's not forget about the higher potential for getting rear ended in traffic.
I partially agree however, I dislike those massive bagger bikes with Captain chairs a cup holder and more storage space than some hatchbacks. But I don't shit on them bc it's their style and needs.
