    Wonderful review. As a Swiss-American I appreciated seeing familiar landscapes! I get my E-tron next week. In the US we do not have the camera rear view mirrors, we have the old style ones. Apparently they could not get the cameras approved. I am getting the SUV as it fits my lifestyle, and am looking forward to driving in the snow, as these cars have a great reputation for that.

    Pour la prochaine moi je dirais que rien n’arrive a la hauteur des tesla modèle S ou 3 (ergonomie, technique, …) le seul point négatif est le contrôle qualité.

    E-tron GT for sure! - I hope to get mine around december :-)
    After testing both versions - in my opinion no need to go for the RS, the GT has plenty of power and was more comfortable. Riding on swiss or austrian winding mountain roads is pure enjoyment.

    Thank you for your review. What is the maintenance cost of your eTron S Sportback. I am contemplating purchasing the same car here in the USA. I am very concerned about the cost to maintain an Audi car. Thank you. I don't care a about the S variant. But I like the way the S looks over the non-S variant...LOL.

    Very good review. In German they have now an offer for 432 €/Month netto withouht downpaying for the 503 PS version, which is a really good offer. My question: what is the realistic range of your car if you drive it on the Autobahn with constant 130-140 kmh speed. Thank you

    Hi Wize. Its a nice car but just me I'm not a black rim guy. I guess its the "INC" thing nowadays. If I had the Audi E Tron, I would make my wheels gun metal. Makes the car look agressive but cool at the same time. I dont want my car to look all the time aggressive. But as they say, to each his own taste. No doubt your E Tron looks dynamic! Thanks for sharing 👍!

    Hello Wize, always taking pleasure to your video. I have a S75D and tried shortly the e-Tron 55 and was very impressed by comfort and the insulation (even coming from an A4 and A6 before). What is your take on it long term? Is the comfort still giving an as good or even better road behavior on twisty road as the Model S ?
    Are you in line for an e-Tron GT ?
    What about your honest long term real thought about Infotainment and interior interface (not speaking of finition which is outstanding of course) compared to the extreme of Tesla "simplicity" or spartan concept?
    It is interesting for me to have the perspective as Audi is coming with very appealing EV (e-Tron GT or Q4 even if i am also no fan of SUV)...

      Having had the chance to drive both, the perfect EV would have Tesla range, user interface and superchargers infrastructure and Audi built quality and ride comfort. Audi air suspensions are cool too

    Magnifique reportage extrêmement objectif et intéressant. Ce bleu lui va bien, tout comme le noir ; même si j’ai acheté le mien en gris Daytona. Superbe voiture. Très confortable et agréable à conduire. Seul souci… calculer ses voyages en préparant ses étapes. Pour le reste c’est du bonheur.

    Have you driven "55" version?Im thinking about etron s because I have some very horrible autoroute entrance...non an acceleration lane but a stop!And very often only one lane poor view of approaching vehicles. For safety I need strong acceleration to zero at 100,but I don't like sport driving ( I driven tour buse 20 year,I prefer comfort and silence

      I’ve made a few videos about the 55… It’s powerful enough; I even consider it a better overall choice as it has better range compared to the S

    Love the Audi e-tron sportback 55
    Comfort genius and built quality 100 times better than tesla.but im happy with the old style mirror and i charge.my e tron at home over night.

    Intéressant... je n'avais pas vu ce retour avant. Pour ma part, j'en suis à 12000 km avec la mienne, dont 3000 de road trip en vacances, côte atlantique française (charente, garonne) avec femme et enfants + bagages. Je peux donc donner un petit retour sur la consommation, la praticité et l'autonomie générale. De fait, il faut compter avec env. 300 km d'autonomie en mélangeant AR et nationales (Vmoy env. 90km/h). Le réseau existant fonctionne bien (Ionity ou Total en HPC). Courbe de charge extrêmement rapide (très nettement supérieure à Tesla en l'occurrence) avec une moyenne de charge qui est largement au-dessus de 100kW sur les HPC. Ainsi, toutes 3h, une pause de 20-30 min = recharge à 90% et départ pour la suite. Aucun souci rencontré, ce qui n'est pas évident en France lol... Coût total des recharges avec la carte Audi (abo gratuit pour un an) = 129 CHF... ça rigole ;)
    S'agissant de la conso générale, je suis un peu plus bas avec la mienne (une S aussi), à env. 27.5 kWh/100 sur 12'000 bornes. Je ne roule pas à l'économie non plus, mais sur les longs trajets je remarque que je suis moins "nerveux" qu'avec mes précédentes voitures... ce doit être l'impression de voyager en train (le silence est un régal dans cette voiture).
    Je suis d'accord que les parties glossy sont un fichier d'empreintes. J'utilise régulièrement un petit chiffon microfibres dédié (fonction nettoyage écran enclenchée) pour passer un coup. Ca me prend 20 secondes et c'est ok, mais cette manie du piano black est un peu pénible.
    Je n'ai pas eu les soucis de caméra, mais mon frère à eu la sienne qui a pris l'eau. A priori un défaut de fabrication au niveau d'un joint. S'agissant du volant, j'ai pu prendre la version 3 branches (non-aplatie), chauffant (génial) et conserver les assistances. Je ne pouvais pas non plus sélectionner le volant à méplat, mais au final, celui que j'ai est vraiment bien.
    Après 7 mois d'utilisation, je suis dans l'ensemble comblé par la voiture. Carplay me fait aussi des variantes, mais pour l'instant rien de grave. Je me dis que de toute manière, si ça ne va pas, la garantie sera là pour ça et AMAG Crissier est à 20 min de chez moi ;)
    Pour le futur, j'attends un break car s'il y a un point sur lequel je suis un peu mitigé (même si je le savais avant d'acheter), c'est le volume de chargement. Je suis un habitué des breaks de grande taille (Passat, A6, Classe E) et donc je me sens un peu à l'étroit ici...
    Pas grave, on a pu partir en vacances moyennant un peu de Tetris !

    After boost mode runs out of power ( what is only avaible for only 8 seconds if i’m right? ) doesn’t the car feels “sluggish?” Without the boost it’s only like a normal e-tron 55?

      Not at all as each times you hit the throttle, you get those 8 seconds of boost. Who accelerate for more than 8 seconds?

      @@Teejaay1 0-100 is similar but the 3 being lighter and sitting lower, you get a better speed sensation

    I think you will go for a Tesla model S Plaid.😉 I myself went for, as you said a better choice, Audi E-tron 55 Sportback, but in white with black rims and details.👍🏻

    Hmmm, those camera wing mirror 6: wing cameras don't appeal to me, I like some basic analogue technology to be present.
    I adore digital tech and everything computers but they do have a high failure/glitch/
    can't-be-bothered-to-work rate.

    If I were buying another EV, I would never get an Audi eTron. I have a Tesla Model 3 Performance, my third Tesla. I am getting a Porsche Boxster GTS sports car which is known for their build quality and nicer materials, and I am keeping my Tesla. I have FSD (full self driving) and autopilot and love the brake regeneration to slow down and stop. I would hate the range of your Audi eTron. I have 450 km of range on my fully charged car and have a network of Tesla Superchargers all over the country. I would sell that car if I were you my friend as you would not lose much money due to its newer nature.

      I agree on Tesla still being superior in terms of range and Superchargers infrastructure… The etron S will go anyway mid December as it was a 12 months lease 😊

      @@WiZe1972 That is a very short lease, and as t turned out, it was to your advantage. I would say that the eTron was what I call “half baked”. In other words, it appears they were lazy and used another old model, heavy and not too aerodynamic to create the electric version. If you are interested in EV’s I would consider the model Y, or the new model S.

      It wasn’t actually a choice, those are the standard rims. The idea was to have these with the winter tire and get some after market ones but ended up not bothering
