The reason you are so uncomfortable is because your buddy added that stupid straight bar. By adding that he changed the seating position, you'd be a lot more comfortable with the factory bar. Trust me
Its not stupid. It looks better and you can take turns better on it. And for a taller person a bar thats stretched out a bit is a little more comfy than stock. And again, it looks 10x better which is enough for me to do one for mine when i get one.
As a serious motorcycle rider since I was 14 am now 70 and am a man of the world, still have a K1 hayabusa & FZ6. I'm 6' 175 and my 2019 MT-07 gets me to 127mph and very fast! Brakes could be better but otherwise no complaints! Fun ass bike I rode from Denver to Phoenix!
Got that comfort seat on my FZ-07 that like tempurpedic gel seat kinda deal. Old dude that had it before me put that along with heated grips and a touring windshield on it. I'm having the windshield taken off for now though might sell it might get a puig sport shield dunno will see after I get her.
Got all black fz07 2016 a month ago added circle bar end mirrors and put plugs where old ones were added under glow and getting m4 exhaust soon, can’t keep off of it not to mention the power wheeleiez

jay fulton kinda did the same thing. Went in to look at a fz6r actually and the guy showed me this 2016 fz07 that was bought, tuned, raced up a mountain, then sold back to them. It screamed my name at first sight and no one else saw it lmao. Had 200miles on it, pretty much new. My first bike and i swear im in love!

I ended up buying a Honda hornet 919 for my naked street bike. you should check one of those out if you get a chance. it's a super fun bike. around 100HP and 63lb/ft of torque with the silky smooth Honda 6-speed gearbox. I use it mostly as a commuter bike, but it's pretty sporty if I chose to take it to the twisties or track days. keep up the good work!
+ShakeNBlake I'm a big guy (around 280lbs) so I don't have any trouble keeping the wheel down as long as I'm leaned forward. but if I sit back it will absolutely yank the front wheel right up. it's a lot of fun to ride around town though. it red lines at about 10k, so most of the torque is really low in the power band, where you want it. it's perfect for someone my size, but I bet an average sized rider would have a blast on it in the mountains or at the track.
Definitely! I love the FZ-07! It was between the FZ and Street Triple when I found a smoking deal on my Street Triple. Only reason I have a Street instead of the FZ, but I love it now so no complaints!

I just bought a 2017 Fz07 and it’s a great bike the only thing I say that it needs it would be a better seat I just went to 2018 Myrtle beach bike week and well the 3 hour ride was not bad but my ass did need some padding but is this bike for a new rider I say no because you can wheelie soo easy if you don’t pay attention to the road and you hit a bump or pot hole you will whisk the throttle and it could knock you off the bike but if you pay attention to the road then yeah it can work for a new rider just keep in mind that you will drop the bike at some point and I don’t mean that your going to drop it going 55mph+ but in the garage or at a stop or Gad station or at an incline so I say get a cheap used what ever bike instead of that new bike that you want to show off but that my $0.02 and by the way how much did you pay for your bike out the door mine is 2017 fz07 the pearl blue and I got it for $7,012 out the door with a extended 4 year warranty
It is 100% for aesthetics. Sometimes the throttle and all the peripherals will move around. But it's nothing to big of a deal. It's decently comfortable and looks great. He's going to be painting it black soon to match the bike
I currently have a 600 Hornet which is my first bike and I must say i'm tempted to get a new MT-07 as I love the sound track, and i'm not that bothered about going fast, even my 600 is too much for the kind of riding I like to do. I'd much prefer it if I felt/sounded like I was going fast than actually going silly fast.

I ride my MT07 90km a day and the seat is just perfect, I think it depends on your body shape! And I had a big smile when you sead brakes are good, you should try them with braid lines, a lot better!
Ya your probably right, I'm a small guy so that bike the way I was sitting and the seat. I wouldn't last more than 50 miles I don't think. We recently went on a ride with the FZ-07, an R6, and my self and it was about 90 miles we went. I was perfectly good to keep going on the Street Triple. Those guys were hurting at the end lol

Personally it's not a big bike, it's bigger than the Street Triple which is definitely for shorter people (I can flat foot the Street Triple.) No way I could on the FZ, it was just wider. Oh man, I would love to ride a Bolt! It's one of the only cruiser bikes I really like. Can't go wrong with the FZ or Bolt. Depends on what type of riding you want to do I guess.

I think the FZ-07 is a great bike for the price and absolutely looks viscous but the Street Triple is the best bike I've ever ridden, more comfortable, handles like nothing I've ever ridden, and so confidence inspiring, also looks stunning! The FZ is a great bike, but I'd pick the Street Triple hands down over the FZ.

32Titleist32 Nope, the guy who owns it said in a previous video that it's a piece of bar that he found lying around. The stock bars are much higher, the initial bend (the U shape) stops at about where the dash sits.

I believe it's an MT09 bar. The stock bar to me felt super awkward so I swapped to an RM high bar. Totally changed the dynamic for the better.

With 270° crank sounds better than anything with 2 cylinders except maybe Ducati but I would still choose a Yamaha.

Most of the time i dont even need to get out of third gear.
I can tack it around 6 and be going 60 MPH in third gear on the back roads.

I ride my MT07 90km a day and the seat is just perfect, I think it depends on your body shape!

Ya your probably right, I'm a small guy so that bike the way I was sitting and the seat. I wouldn't last more than 50 miles I don't think. We recently went on a ride with the FZ-07, an R6, and my self and it was about 90 miles we went. I was perfectly good to keep going on the Street Triple. Those guys were hurting at the end lol

Personally it's not a big bike, it's bigger than the Street Triple which is definitely for shorter people (I can flat foot the Street Triple.) No way I could on the FZ, it was just wider. Oh man, I would love to ride a Bolt! It's one of the only cruiser bikes I really like. Can't go wrong with the FZ or Bolt. Depends on what type of riding you want to do I guess.

Definitely not! I think the FZ-07 is a great bike for the price and absolutely looks viscous but the Street Triple is the best bike I've ever ridden, more comfortable, handles like nothing I've ever ridden, and so confidence inspiring, also looks stunning! The FZ is a great bike, but I'd pick the Street Triple hands down over the FZ.

I've been researching the street triple for months now, looking to get it as my next bike ( Currently have the Yamaha R3 as my first bike ) and it looks amazing, and every review or comparison i see/read , it does amazing. After seeing this I was wondering if you wish you had the fz instead, but thanks for clearing that up:)

32Titleist32 Nope, the guy who owns it said in a previous video that it's a piece of bar that he found lying around. The stock bars are much higher, the initial bend (the U shape) stops at about where the dash sits.

+ShakeNBlake haha I have an R6 and you will for sure have more acceleration but with a little experience on the R6 he might disappoint you. I'm thinking of also getting the Fz07 and the exhaust just makes me want it more. You should post that vid though and enjoy :)
