I see a lot of comments shaming Taylor for publicizing the death of her ex husband. There is absolutely nothing wrong with her book. This woman has been through hell. Her husband psychologically and physically tortured her for years. Her story is important to hear. In her book, she highlights the warning sings of an abusive relationship. She shares the gory details of her abuse to help others in her shoes. We should be commending her for her bravery.

I know right? My first relationship was abusive physically and mentally, people judge but don't know the hell people get in to it, usually we think the abuser will change, but this never happens...I'm watching the first season and I'm really happy for her that her life changed, some never do.
The thing is, even now she's not telling the truth. Just recently she told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live that she didn't have a support system. She had support and didn't take it. In her book a couple of her friends offered to help her get away from Russell as well as Lisa Vanderpump on the show. So that there is another lie. Sorry but you don't get punched in the face and get your orbital bone broke and not have swelling or a black eye. My opinion she found out Russell didn't have the money she thought he had and needed a way out without making herself look bad so she lied about the abuse
@@joymaldonado9371 Lisa Vanderpump and the other Beverly Hills Housewives' offering "support" for Taylor on national television does not strike me as a sincere gesture. The truth is Taylor didn't have anyone in real life to help her navigate the tumultuous marriage. Additionally, you insinuating that Russel abusing Taylor was a fabricated ploy is disgusting. There is photographic proof of the abuse that Taylor endured. These accusations are baseless and defamatory. Take back what you said.
@@lalaycoco9467 actually if you had read Taylor's book you would know the other people I'm talking about. She said and I quote, "all my friends were always telling me to leave Russell and that Kennedy and I would have a place to stay with them." That was before she went on the show and Lisa did offer a place for Taylor and Kennedy and Taylor turned it down. It doesn't matter that you don't think it was sincere. And I won't take back anything I said. The pics that everyone is referring to is after her surgery for her eye. She even states in her book that there was no swelling and no bruising. I'm not sure about you, but the last time I checked, if you get punched in the eye your going to have some kind of swelling or bruising. There was already a lot of controversy over that claim given the fact that Taylor gave 2 different dates that it happened. It's sad to say but there are plenty of women who cry wolf just to make their significant other look bad. Now I'm not saying there wasn't verbal or mental abuse going on, I just don't believe the physical accusations. You really should take the time to read her book and have an open mind when and if you do because as I was reading it, there were several lies in it
@@joymaldonado9371 We do not need to get into the nitty gritty of exactly how and when Taylor was abused. That is all hearsay. We DO need to chose to believe Taylor. She was the victim of domestic violence. For anyone who has ever been a victim of domestic violence, they will tell you how hard it is to get help. The abuser will manipulate you into staying. The abuser will convince you to lie about what is really happening, and keep you from seeking out help.
Russell beat her and took his own life. End of story.
Case closed.

I’m watching housewives of Beverly Hills for the first time. It’s such a silly show and it pains my heart knowing what was happening to Taylor behind closed doors the whole time. Wow. She deserves the world and I’m so happy she feels free to be open about this topic. She can finally speak the truth!

Taylor was the head of a domestic abuse organization while she was being domestically abused. This is a great message to show people the effect of the psychological damage that abuse can cause. We have to be more gentle with each other.

Taylor as someone who is just coming out of an abusive workplace relationship I found your book as well as your appearances on the real housewives of Beverly Hills so inspiring and relatable. Everything you said is also so validating. I was also caught in a cycle of abuse where my family and friends started to doubt me. Thank you so much for sharing your strength with us.

She looks healthier bc she was so unnaturally thin before. She looks normal now. You can tell that she is very fragile though emotionally though. It will take a lifetime to undo some trauma. Im glad she found someone to share her life with. This might sound strange but on the show I could tell Kennedy had some issues with her father, as if she could sense he was very strange.
What a lovely person she seems to be. I’ve never heard about her, untill I see those memes with she and the cat. Once I began searching about her and her history, I found this interview and I can say now that she deserves all this happiness. Happy Hollidays everyone!!

I don’t know why people make fun of her or judge her. It is her story and she has all the right to speak out. It takes so much bravery to show yourself in a such hurtful situation. I bet she felt really vulnerable. People instead of appreciate it they try to make her look like a liar. That’s the exactly reason why a lot of people feel scared of show their story. A little bit of empathy would be great

I read her book and have seen her ON RHOBH. I believe in my opinion that she has lied about some things. In the book she said she never knew what papers she was signing when Russell started having his money problems, but a few pages later she said she saw the paperwork for the lawsuit and saw her name on there as well as Kennedy's name and couldn't understand why their names were listed on his lawsuit. Now go and watch the reunion show after season 2 and she says she knew nothing about a lawsuit and that it was a big shock to her. Sorry but this is purely my opinion but in 6 years of physical abuse and she never had one noticeable bruise, abusers are not careful about where they hit you.

I have to agree with you on that. If you've watched the show and I mean really watch it you do see a little of that. I'm not saying that Russell wasn't mentally or verbally abusive to her, but I don't believe the physical abuse. She has lied plenty of times. Just read her book and you'll see what I mean. For instance in her book she had a few friends offer to help her get away from Russell and Lisa Vanderpump even offered for her and her daughter to stay with her. Now just recently she told Andy Cohen she didn't have a support system. Also in her book she claims Russell supposedly beat the hell out of one of her friends husband's, but when the friends wanted to press charges she said she talked them out of it. That right there would have been her way out
