    by the way the whole idea showing the p75 and the bc.20022 was also very helpful

    Hey I might be picking some of these up (used). Do you what I should set the valve lash to?

    Was that your first time tuning on crome? Trying to learn how to tune fuel and ignition maps atm

    • @asianboi89
      @asianboi89  Před 5 lety

      Tim, I tuned a couple of my car using Crome in the past. Personally the fuel map is easy to tune, I have not mess with the ignition map much because I am not comfortable with it. All in all, I have stopped tuning myself because it is unsafe to be touching the laptop while driving unless you have someone there to drive for you. To save a lot of headache, take it to a local tuner and have it on the dyno.

    Is the head worth using on an ls? Can I put ls head on b20b 9.2 and still be okay

    • @asianboi89
      @asianboi89  Před 5 lety

      the only reason why i did this build was because I had the head from by b20, which went to b20v. honestly I would just get a vtec head

    you.didnt need to upgrade the head at all? it ran good no issues?

    • @asianboi89
      @asianboi89  Před 7 lety +4

      To be honest, I did have a set of Blox dual valve springs in before this pull. I did not like it because of the valve chatter. I did not plan to rev pass 7500 rpm so stock was just perfect for the setup. And no issue car ran great for DD and sleeper setup

    How were the gains with these camshafts?

    • @asianboi89
      @asianboi89  Před 6 lety +1

      I do not have a dyno graph to prove the differences, but the gains were slightly better than stock on high rpm, you can compare the video to my other one which was stock

    Y did u use the 84mm instead of 81 like the bore?

    • @asianboi89
      @asianboi89  Před 7 lety

      Imm Dragon I did it to match the head instead of the block

      No leaks? Fits perfectly?

    • @asianboi89
      @asianboi89  Před 7 lety

      Imm Dragon no leaks and fitment is great, I ran the setup for about 5k then sold the setup

      I've seen it done both ways - I'm about to do it and I have both gaskets.
      I'm torn. I've heard people having success with both. The p75 headed b20s use 84mm head gasket - and with LSV you're supposed to match the head gasket to the block...I'll make a game time decision on what head gasket to use when I get around to it...
      @dvue29 - you never had an issue with yours using 84mm head gasket huh?

      Bebo. Te recomiendo yo tengo un integra tambien tiene 235. Usa la OEM o Cometic si lo vas a hacer ls/vtec usa la junta vtec para la tapa.

      @@xavier4g63 lo que pasa es que tengo una p8r 84mm y la voy a montar en un bloque b18 que es 81mm en ese caso no estoy seguro si uso la junta de b18 o b20

    • @xavier4g63
      @xavier4g63 Před 4 lety

      Usa la de b20 porque el bore al ser mas ancho afecta el cooling buscar una junta cometic b20 que sea vtec te la recomiendo cometic es mas expensive pero funciona a la perfección. Mi amigo corre b20vtec con camisillas darton y todo y corre la b20vtec para la tapa👍🏽

    • @asianboi89
      @asianboi89  Před 8 lety

      yes for non vtec motor you would disable vtec so no high cam tuning is required only low cam tuning
