The real summation of Lelouch and C.C.'s relationship
Season 1
Would you two stop flirting?
Lelouch: We're not flirting!
C.C.: Oh, we're definitely flirting. But hand me that pizza there, would you?
Lelouch: Shut up witch!
Season 2
Lelouch: So... are we a thing now?
C.C.: Yes, Lelouch. Now shut up and hand me that pizza.

L.L.: So, we're married now, right?
C.C.: Yes, dear. Now hand me that pizza.
This is actually so perfect
They really have one of the more interesting relationships, and scenes like these really cement it. I love the snark, the smirks and the back and forth. They get on the same page quick. From this selection, the cave scene will always be a favourite because it was a big shift in their relationship, Lelouch alone learns C.C.'s real name and C.C. indirectly reveals her deepest desire, the most vulnerable and open she's ever been to him and the audience. Watching that for the first time, I thought; "Well, why else would she ask him to say her name specifically with love and warmth?" Great analysis on their scenes!
Context for why Lelouch threw the bloodied handkerchief away: As he was wiping her blood, Lelouch saw C.C.'s unnatural regeneration ability and at first he thought that he should keep her blood sample for future observation. After hearing her name, he had second thought and discarded it. I'd assume he then decided to treat her as a person instead of something inhuman/an object for experiment like how she had been treated in the past.
CC's introduction was perfection. The composition, animation and soundtrack.
I like how Lelouch subconsciously wants to protect CC and take her away from Suzaku which sets up their cave moment.
They have a ton of scenes with teasing and flirting nuances that most mature audiences understand.

Also in the cave there was the "Do you know why snow is white, because it forgot what color it should be" "I do not know why snow is white. But I do know that it is beautiful."
CC is describing herself as the snow.
And in that line could be seen as Lelouch accepting CC in a way. People around me who struggle with identity talk a lot about how it is crazy that someone sees them as a person. If CC has the same feelings because of her complications with identity that could be Lelouch seeing CC as a someone. A beautiful someone. A someone that CC doesn't see herself as
I kinda like that they're relationship is not one of the main plots we just get teased with it and as you said it's rewarding rewatching because this bits has meaning. It is not unlikely that they relationship became lovers because they always flirted and teased each other. The anime does not go through day to day basis but you can expect they do this everyday and it becomes organic when you it that way.
There a maturity that not very present in most anime. They hug,kiss sleep in the same bed and it’s not a big deal. It’s refreshing
Give and take.
A resume is: they think of each other as just companions at first, with each one using each other to fulfill their mission. But with the pass of stages, both start to grow on each other's heart, oppening it to each other. The example of this situation is when C.C hugs a "depressed" L.L Saying that She would be there for him *until the end*. Basically, these flirts and love hints started with both doesn't having any feelings at all for each other, but later on with L.L understanding more of C.C life and reaching her heart bit by bit.

Lelouch x C.C is the best! they have cute interactions but they're relationship goes beyond just the typical cutesy type unlike most anime pairings, I love the progression of their relationship, it's much deeper than just a typical boyfriend girlfriend but I do wanna see Lelouch and C.C's children!!!!
Lelouch and C2 are one of the greatest fictional duos of all time. I can never get enough of them.

Meanwhile as conan* when Haibara is introduce, they both tend to vibe/buck heads with Haibara (which Is the shipping i sided with) in goals, how to solve situations, hobbies, when there in life or death situation or cover with one another. Hence (flirting) when they get along really well or they can't agree at the moment

The stage 13 clip I disagree that it was bad time for it. CC told the hard facts so that Lelouch could understand the path and handle his emotions and thoughts in that moment when he had peace and time
that's a fair point I think she could have waited a little bit before hammering those points home though
@@MyMediaChops I think it was a way of CC caring for Lelouch. If he would have kept the thought and feelings of the fact that he killed his friends father. It would have bothered him for a longer while. CC forced Lelouch to let all those emotions out which made Lelouch accept what happened way quicker. It was a really painful moment for Lelouch but made living with the fact feel easier for him
