Very helpful video. Next needed instruction is replacing the glass track/welting around the glass.

Thanks buddy. I just picked up the 55 Dreamcicle from the painter tonight . Keeping car busy .
just watched the video first time.liked it.am building a 49and somthing wierd about your door.my doors have an acess plate at the bottom to get to the hinges.
I figure since the truck is 70+ years old, alot of thinking could have switched in any of the truck. So glad you like the video and thanks for watching. New projects will be coming up.
great video
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.
That was great! It looked easy,..so we don't need to take off the interior window trim?
Just the panel.
Nice and easy R+R. So does it close easier? No repeated slamming?
It's alot better. Still a 1949 but it's great now. Thanks brother.
Adjust the door hinges for a better shut.
Thanks. I have been slowly tweaking them .
Nice truck.. I love that dark green from the factory.. Do u know what color they called that?
I believe it is call " forester green ". I like it on these trucks also.
Need to do my 54 coe Windows’s
It wasn't too bad of an install.
Nice job. Did you ever install the "quieter" fuel pump? If so did it make a difference? Thanks.
Thanks for watching. Yes I did change it and yes it made a big difference.
@@CHASINGMUSCLECARS Thanks for the reply. That's what I wanted to hear, mines super loud also. Do you have a video of that install or of it running? Thanks again.
I didn't do one on the install but it's pretty easy if you have one in place. I can barely hear it in the cab now. I just ordered a quiet one.
Do you have a video on windshield replacement?
No Im sorry. I was lucky enough not to need that glass ......so far.
Also Its for a 48"
What kind/brand of gauges do you have in the dash?
The speedo and tach are Auto Meter.

Thanks a bunch. I’m just getting in the weeds of restoring a 1950 3100 and I can already tell your channel is going to be loads of help!
Awesome.....So glad I can help. If you have question I will do my best to answer. Happy building.
Can I buy a couple of those stickers?
Where do you get parts?
I have links listed in the tilt section.
Handle still looks droopy. Not level.
There is no way you can slide the glass back in onto the rollers with the regulator bolted into place
I showed step by step. I'm not sure exactly what your setup is but this video wasn't edited.
@@CHASINGMUSCLECARS Ah I see...my rail came out with the glass. I tried to put the glass back in with the rail attached at one end. You left the rail attached to the regulator!
Yes. Glad it worked out for you. Enjoy your truck and new glass.
