This is gold! Curtis and Allen are my go to options for sound knowledge. Curtis, you kill it with the reviews and testing. Allen, you really go deep on the topics on sound, gear and 3BO (I love that series). Hopefully we'll see more colaboration between you two. Thank you for this!
Thanks Carlos!
This interview with two of the best "professors" out there are priceless. Thank you a lot as usual for your hard work being Audio disseminators guys. Thank you.
Thanks M Duarte!
LOL! What a total geek out session! Love It! 👍
Oh yeah man. Total geek here!
When you get the audio nerds together... 😀
@@@LearnLightAndSoundSessions @Sound Speeds
Thanks for taking the time. Now I know what all those pesky "sound people" were doing on set. 👍
This was quite an engaging interview to listen to. Thanks, Curtis and Alan, for taking the time to make this and for being so open and communicative about the industry and profession.
Thanks Cool Mark D, and Allen for being so generous with his time.
This is the interview that needed to happen!
👍
I saw this today. Lords of the audio. It's nice to have you together.

Thanks Mark!
Got back two days ago from a 10 day indie film shoot. Not super happy with the result of the audio. Boy i wish i had seen this interview before i left. Really great info and great interview! I guess i'll go fix it in post now...
Yikes. Sorry dude. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.
Thanks antefjante, sorry to hear about the production audio and best wishes in post!

@@LearnLightAndSoundSessions Thanks curtis! :)
Awesome
👍
Wow - great stuff. Interesting guy.
👍
If you were interviewing the interviewee for a job, and you were using his equipment knowledge as a gauge of his experience, you would be sold at 23:53-25:38. He goes into crazy detail/preference over shockmounts... shockmounts!
👍
You had me at "crazy". ;-)
boom op seems like a stressful job! it actually seems more difficult than the acting itself.
The good thing is that there is a dedicated person to worry about sound in the middle of the set action.
