    In this video we shoot and discuss the Walther PPQ M2 NAVY model in 9mm Luger which comes threaded from the factory for suppressor use. Although we did have an issue with a damaged slide stop after several hundred rounds though the gun we still feel that this is a great 9mm handgun and offers a ton of improvements over other striker fired offerings on the market. We are also confident in Walther's customer service and will report on the warranty repair of this particular gun at a later date.

    You don't have to bring the slide back for takedown. It's not a Glock. Check your chamber make sure it's empty, pull the trigger, pull the takedown tabs down and pull the slide off. The absolute easiest gun to takedown, this is one of the best features of the PPQ that gets over shadowed by its amazing trigger.

      +Chris Sabre well there is equal support for either ppq m1 or m2 you can't go wrong. They take same recoil spring options, sights, grips and holsters. If you get the m1 you can use Walther p99 mags if you get the m2 you can use the canik tp9 mags.

    The flag on his jacket isn't backwards, it is just the American way to wear a flag. It's how a flag looks when you're moving forward and it is flapping back with the wind. This is how a lot of soldiers and aircraft display their flags around the world as well.

      +TR-8R I got a uniform, almost the same one but mine is from "Heimevernet" which is kind of a civilian protection devision and you can join them when you're 16. But the flag on that one is also backwards, so it's not just an american way to wear a flag.

  • @moparedtn
    @moparedtn Před 8 lety +2

    The PPQ is an excellent pistol. IMO it's the best striker-fired pistol out there south of $1000. Eric mentions it somewhat, but this thing has an AMAZING trigger, not to mention the reset is around a tenth (.10) of an inch!
    I have the M1, which has the "European" paddle-style mag release, which I've grown to love as well as it is ambidextrous.
    I've run pretty much everything in 9mm through it and been pretty brutal with it and it's been rock-solid reliable. Several thousand rounds later and to date (knock wood), not a single malfunction.
    Not one.
    Eric is correct, though. The sights are cheesy. First thing I did to mine was install some night sights on it. Gun is tack-driver accurate.

  • @DocLarsen44
    @DocLarsen44 Před 8 lety

    I have one of these and I love it. I have put a small 3 port (2 side & 1 up) muzzle break on it. Together with trigger I can fast shoot multiple rounds with unbelievable accuracy. However, I have had some FTEs when using old cheap 115gr ammo. When using quality ammunition (any modern commercial), I have never had an issue with the pistol. When I carry this pistol, which isn't often due to its size, I feel completely confident that I am WELL armed.

      Phathom They say recoil on the Walther 45 is 30% lower than a 1911. Do you agree?

    Great gun! I've it, too... I love it.
    Very nice that you don't blame the gun or company, for this malfanction. You are very objective! Thumbs up and abo for this channel for that.

    I own a full metal replica of this gun. Looks 100% real. But nothing can beat the real steel. Awesome video!

    It would be interesting to see a follow up video on your interaction with Walther and what was done and see the gun in action after the fix for those of us who don't do Facebook. Thanks for all your great videos and all you do for the gun community!

    Like any machine, there is the potential for parts breakage, doesn't change the fact that Walther makes a decent firearm
