So Bob PHYSICALLY climbs inside people and rips them from the inside out.
While Bodger EMOTIONALLY climbs inside people and rips them from the inside out. Got it 😁👍
hmm, Greg and Baradun need to jump in on this, maybe make this a theme for the group. Baradun could do "spiritual" since he's a sorcerer, maybe Greg could be "mentally" since he's a tinkerer.
I would say that's an accurate description!
Baradun does it mentally, and Greg does it financially as he's a merchant lmao
Episode summary: Dougan's shaft has some real hard problems. Thankfully a group of travelers from Goodhead come to take care of it.
And, as Rob specifically pointed out, you’d think it was wood, but actually rock hard...stone. Which is normal for this area for a city to be erected like this.
They aren't travelling, they are riding. Riders are gonna ride on- *uuhhm agh uhm cough* TO Dougan's Shaft.
I hear it's tough to run a business there. Competition is stiff.
I dont get the joke, spanish speaker :c

"Any Trauma?" needs to be on a T-shirt with Bodger's face next to it, like a "got milk?" ad.
VLDL. Do. It.
SOLD!!!
I'd buy one^^
I can't wait for Bodger to close his blacksmith shop and open up a clinic for mental health in Honeywood. Starting a session with: "Any trauma?" Always practicing the established ways of "aggressive probing into dark pasts" and the well-tried method of "letting it all out" xD
Or he starts with his 10 minute inspiration speech before Baelin passes by saying "Nice day for trauma, ain't it? Huh ha!"
"And just *how* does that make you feel, right now? *Hm?* "
suicide rates would skyrocket. xD
He needn't close the shop. Banging on steel could be therapeutic.
Pretty sure if the answer was no, the prescribed treatment would be a bonk on the head with a wooden club. NOW you’ve got trauma. That’ll be ten gold pieces.
Never have i ever saw a DM be so calm and patient with players, the burden he's carrying can be seen clearly in his eyes!

@@mohammedalshirawi7584 It is undoubtedly fun, but sometimes when there's six player and five out of six just f**k around without even listening for 3h out of 4h session, it can get seriously annoying
@@SanjowK I mean there are in my opinion 2 types of rowdy players, the type that fucks around but will listen once you softly drop a dragon miniature, and the other that uses the sessions as a platform to hang out. Depending on time availability I didnt used to mind either. But the latter over the years can exaust me.
But if the players are even a little invested in thier characters simply run harder games and mess with thier heads by making occasional private rolls and look serious. shuts my players right up xD
Love how bodger always making things more difficult, and they're only keeping him around cause he's the one that hits hard.
He's acting a little bit Rowan so he's Rodger... kinda
Chaotic awesome
Like when Master Padric warned them not to bad-mouth the snow-goddess, you just knew what Bodger would do the very next second.
This is becoming a pattern where Bodger would immediately break any social rule, Rob warns them to heed.

@@sambathelionking I'm just putting that down to accent.
I want to see a skit in Epic NPC man where Bodger presses an adventurer about the traumatic backstory that starts the game.
And starts the conversation by holding up a D20 and saying “charisma!”
“So..l you tried to cross the border abs walked right into an imperial ambush eh? Tell me about it. Share your trauma with ol Bodger.”
A week later..
“So you were a prisoner until traumatic events freed you and now you feel obligated to repay the emperor… sounds very traumatic.”
...you’ve made another interaction awkward...Ben’s timing on that was so funny.
I laughed out loud at that!
Bodger: Fine, fine
Subtitles: (not fine)

"Remember to tell the towns you help that you are doing so under the guidance of master padrick" < probably best to keep quiet actually given the trail of destruction and pain left in their wake so far...
If they succeed, and have a good reputation, tell the townspeople Master Padrick sent them.
If they mess things up, tell the people that the bad wizard guy sent them (I forgot his name; Laethal, or something?).

i think he keeps often hearing "wolly go!" around farmers cos he's standing in front of the combine harvester in a field with a blank expression on his face & the farmer wants to work...
That’s not a blank expression, he just has really high charisma. That’s what charm looks like…
That guy is a member of the heroic and honorable Rangers Guild you know… they only take the most charming and handsome members!
I love that Greg has no idea what a sheep dog is. No wonder his sheep are always running amuck!
Originally I thought it takes so long to progress the story because the episodes are so short and full of cuts into Azerim but... It's mainly caused by... Bodger bullshitting... Kinda love it, but... I also really want to get into Rob's story, it's amazing.

A touch of Epic NPC Man.. The look on Bob's face when Bodger started chewing the scenery was priceless. Oh and Greg... where is Poppy? Asking for a friend.
Dumb guy charisma I understand, but Bodger's incredibly rude, empathyless Charisma is a new one on me. The path of the eventual Paladin is a strange one indeed.
Have you been to the village of Teabaggage? It's quite near Dougan's Shaft
Then just follow Taint Valley to the city of Brown Star

Lol Bodger, you’re supposed to be stopping the sacrifices from being stolen, not swooping in and stealing them yourself 😝
Rob response to Bodger 'well someone's gotta speak out for what's right in this land' 'It should not be you' was gold. Probably the most direct way of a DM warning the players of impending doom if they continue a certain action.
Bob is asking a lot of good questions here, I see he's actively trying to avoid death now haha.
Another great episode, lots of laughs. The last few have been really good, which seems difficult because all of the episodes have been great in my opinion. Still hoping one day we'll start getting two episodes a week. What's it gonna take!?
Who the hell is Adam's character? That cant be Baradun! He's kind, generous, cares about others, etc.
Great episode again!
Apparently Baradùn let the power get to his head before, and he is actually a good person when humbled by his power loss.
Few things are as humbly as going back to Level 1. In addition, the group already has one problem child and Baradun is the one using the brain cell.

Did anyone else notice that Bodger rolled a d12 instead of a d20 for his Animal Handling check for the sled dogs...?
Another great thing about this series is that all the character development these guys are doing just by playing and goofing off can be added into the Baelin's Route film.
18:00 ... Rowan, that was a D12.
Sad, but true.
Nice inspiration speech, when it started I thought we were in for the entire killzone 1 cinematic trailer
I kinda think the WIZARD should have to deal with a WIZARD. And a blacksmith should deal with metal. It would be funny if bodger uses his transformation to become balen to do the fish mission lol.

For the Sled Dog Driving Check...you rolled a D12 instead of a D20.

*** Warning this comment may cause someone to get triggered and miscontrued as arrogance, know it all and geeky. Rest assured, I am posting this comment because I truly believe that this series can be an epic comedy/fantasy/adventure story. I just like to give my views on the progression of characters in the story.
DM - good work on handling the progress of the story especially on numerous curveballs being thrown by Bodger/Rowan.
Bodger - Rowan was able to bring in and immerse the very essence of bodger into the story. Pushing the character to next level adding impulsiveness, intrusive and blunt characteristic is brilliant.
Bob - Ben did a fine job in creating and developing a the new character. I recognized the base perosnality of bob as like Ben's mugger character: rough, seemingly logical but easy to succumb to peer pressure. Adding the gory, manical alter ego is simply hilarious.
Baradun - Adam's personality is right for a mage character but I feel like in this in this series he is playing it to safe. I like the Baradun he played in the first D&D series with Britt. I feel like the current is lacking the extreme sense of self importance during the dialogue cutscenes. I like how ben, alan and adam portrayal of mages in the video with the spellcasting blinding spells. A touch more of arrogance and condescending remarks should do the trick.
Greg - Alan was able to bring in the essence of the character Greg into the adventure but I think tends to be overshadowed by the other characters. My only suggestion though to bring him more to the forefront is during dialogues is to rekindle the rivalry between Greg and Bodger. The video about my quest is bigger than yours is hilarious.
Anyway, these are just my two cents. I truly wish you guys success and I will continue to support you. 😁
Thanks for yout support and input.
Can't tell people how to play their characters. I mean not like that. Greg is the type of character who is supposed to get overshadowed in my view, he's the "regular guy." I also feel like baradoon has been humbled. He's not the same person he was at least not at the moment. If I would ask for anything, which I'm actually already starting to see, it'd be more callbacks to the characters past. I loved meeting bob's brother, and bodger "knowing" their current area is pretty interesting too. Give Gregg a snow tike too!! That'd make for some amazing interactions. 😂😂
@@mctv6829 I totally agree and I understand what you're saying but I think we are simply looking at it at different point of view. The premise of my comment is in consideration with the possiblity of the series being converted to a novel or a graphic novel, that being said, they are no longer simply playing d&d but writing a story in the process. I'm just pointing out my observations on some character inconsistencies in the development of the story as well as suggestions as a fan of fantasy novels. Normally, I will not give a hoot but I believe in them and their product. I just want to give my utmost support so that they can produce the best story that they can in their own perspective. In the event that the series goes to print, the inconsistency will be corrected and filled by the perspective/personality of the editor. I would rather preserve their own personalities in the characters that they developed since before the d&d series. Bodger is Rowan, Bob is Ben, Greg is Alan and Baradun is Adam.
Again, these are all just my feedbacks on what I enjoy in their product and if found unwarranted I sincerely apologize to the VLDL gang.
