Just bought my Accord Sport Sedan, love it. Gets some attention on the road too, it’s a slick looking car. Wish I could’ve afforded the 2.0 with the more luxurious features and additional HP, but ah…..$$$.
It’s a real pleasure to drive. I’ve never gone wrong with a Honda, they’ve earned me as a loyal customer.

Same here. And by the way, Awesome review and tutorial! I traded in my 2017 EX Coupe for the 2020 Sport. What really sold me...The Low profile 19" Rims and Tires, the aggressive front grill and most importantly...the new technology both inside and out! So many standard driver assists and a bangin' 8" Infotainment System. Sound quality is good, not great with 8 speakers. I always install my amp and sub in my new cars for the deep, low end bass many cars just lack. Overall, I love driving it and its got great curb appeal in that deep blue heavy metallic lush paintjob. The. car is really fun to drive! Not the fastest one off the starting line but will definitely not leave you asking for more with its 6 speed auto turbo! Cant wait to jump in and drive it tomorrow!

This was the best review that I have scene (that is, for one that did not include a drive).
I would have liked to have seen information about the stereo.
For example, you can plug a flash drive into the USB port, and it will play all the music files that are on your flash drive.
But I do not know how many files it is capable of managing, or what file systems the stereo is designed to read (i.e.: fat32, exfat, NTFS, ext4, etc), or what sampling rates and bit depths it is compatible with.
Also, when I listened to the stereo, it was not that good. It was okay. But not up to par with the rest of the car. A lot of customers might not care. But if you like realistic sound, imaging, neutrality, soundstaging, etc, do not expect it from this car.
Lastly, the paint job differs, in terms of its mirror shine, depending on the color.
Black gives you a great mirror, where you can use it like a regular mirror -- it is a very good paint job.
Dark Grey is close to black.
Red is close to Dark Grey.
Blue (not a real blue, because it has purple in it) is close to Red.
All of the above have very good mirror shines, with black in the lead.
    White has very little shine.
Silver has nearly no shine. It looks good. But you will not really see your reflection in the paint.
    Cheers!

Just one small correction. The plug next to the USB slot, and the other one hidden in the center console, are not "cigarette lighters". They are power outlets. Most people plug in a car charger, and then this can be used to charge our phones via a cable. There are in fact no "cigarette lighters" as such in the car. There is nothing like a plugged in device that you can pull out and hold up to our cigarette, like you might have done in your grandfather's car. So, yeah, they are power outlets.

Definitely take a parent with you. Or somebody with car buying experience so you don’t get screwed over. Every dealer is different though. They will try to up sell you as much as possible. If you do buy, get GAP insurance hands down. If you end up totaling your car, GAP insurance will cover everything you owe. Usually 150% is what GAP will cover. Another thing, always question dealer fees. Be assertive and own the entire car buying process. Remember, you aren’t desperate, and you definitely don’t want the sales team thinking you are. Negotiate. If you aren’t happy with the deal, walk away. I’ve been screwed 3 different times and got out into a vehicle/trim level I didn’t even want because I was young and stupid.

That button is up there with the map lights? It is to turn the 2 barely visible ambient LED's aimed downward from there designed to gently give you more console lighting without being distracting at all. Once you look up at it and see the 2 LED lights turn on and off with the switch, leave it on always. It will turn on and off when you start the car and you will forget it's even there. That's another reason I love Hondas. It's that attention to detail and futuristic driving and safety equipment that puts Hondas at least 4 years ahead of domestics (yes, I know it's built in Marysville, Ohio and is mostly classified as a domestic!) USA Jobs are abundant there although the factory is mostly all robotic!

  • @JF-mq8tp
    @JF-mq8tp Před 4 lety +1

This is how I see it. There are a lot of money makers for Honda on the 2020 Accord. Here are just a couple. 1. Wheels stick out further than the tires so when parking it's easy to damage the wheels on the curb. Wheels are around $250 each. Honda will try to get you to rotate the tires so that in short order all four wheels are damaged.
    2. Front end. The sensor and the inter-cooler are within 6 inches or the car's front and protected by only a couple of pieces of plastic. If you hit anything firmer than a beach ball prepare for a hefty bill. These are just 2 things that make the parts department happy. There are others. These money makers have been around since at least 2018 so obviously Honda is happy with them.

It seems like Honda doesn’t upgrade to new things, like for one. why have a big touch screen in the middle without a touch of the button to put it in or out. Also have multiple options on having a keyless and key where you have options on which key you wanna start the car. They should have a sun roof all types of models and vents in the back seat.

10:28 If you’re not gonna be racing your Honda why get the sport edition? Lol might as well get the lx base model and drive the basic lol. Sport is meant for racing and sporty look.
