is it just me that keeps getting display reading incorrectly? when i calculate miles driven vs fill up gas i usually get 35MPG but i get about 37 on Fuel economy reading. During summer i was getting up to 40-41 MPG on the gauge, didn't actually calculate back then
If I was in the market for a new sedan, the Accord would be my first choice. My brother put his wife into a new Accord Sport 2.0, and I was astounded by how freaking fast that thing was. 273 ft-lbs of torque at just 1500 rpm. Smooth as silk with a ridiculous amount of rear legroom. My #2 would be the Toyota Camry TRD, also an excellent sedan.
Shock that’s true. But imo the power building in linear fashion somehow pleases me. I sound so old 🤣. Plus imo the tire spin and torque steer increase the fun factor
No, the lane watch feature is at this point, outdated. They are phasing that out for the regular blind spot monitors. They still have them on the civic because it’s an existing feature from 2016.
I have roommates who have the Camry XSE v6 and the 2.0t touring. Advantages over Camry XSE V6: -quickest in class off the line thanks to torque amount -transmission (re: 10 speed version) -remote start keeps engine running even when you unlock -lighter in weight -memory seats -easier to handle, no over or under steer -better interior setup -better driver visibility -adaptive dampers -lane keep assist actually keeps you in lane (semi-autonomous) however, my list for Camry XSE v6 advantages over the Accord is longer. If any of the list above are deal breakers, I'd go with the 2.0t
@@AdulisChedoMokanan Yes. Honda's long-term reliability ratings are MUCH worse than Toyota. Check Consumer Reports. Honda's #12, Lexus #1, Toyota #3. Last year, Toyota #1, Honda #14.
A new TLX will coming out soon so you will have to think about it. TLX seem to have some transmission issues - check that out. The infotainment is older generation. If they fix those, it is a better buy.
I know the Camry and Accord are good cars and have larger trunk space, however are there any other cars that come close to the base price of a Subaru WRX (about $27,500) with all the significant features such as, Turbo 4 cylinder, AWD, 6 speed, alloy-alluminum wheels (not wheel covers) and rear seats that fold down?
I find it strange they removed LaneWatch on this generation. The 2013 Accord I had before had it so not sure why they removed it. When I looked in the manual for the 2020, it says LaneWatch is only on the Canadian model. I don't really mind though with the blind spot indicator they put on the mirrors.
"I don't know if these rear seats pull down or not.." you are reviewing the vehicle and you didn't think it was worth taking the 5 minutes to find out before you posted a review? Niiiiice...
I noticed in the 2020 camry test drive the music sounds like it was only coming from the front. I had to change the fade/balance to the back all the way basically to to hear the music infront and behind me. Is it the same in the accord?
Shake? Mine engine purrs but no shaking. I have a lot of road noise and it gets a little bumpy above 75mph but idk if thats due to the road or the car. It does have sport tires on 19s so that might be it but I'm not 100% convinced.
It wont allow it to change the car is basically idiot proof. I hace accidentally turned off my car when in drive and the car switches to park on its own before shutting off the engine
Oh my god dude why didn’t you turn up the music so we can see what the sound system sounded like.. 🤦♂️🤦♂️ This is the very first review I’ve seen where someone was worried about getting copyrighted 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Sound system is bad, I have a 2019 1.5T. Previous car was a 03 G35 which had Bose. The sound system in the 2019 1.5T accord needs to be redone. Its bearable but nothing mindblowing. The car as a whole though is amazing. 10/10 recommend but you might want to consider upgrading it yourself after you buy it (the sound system).
@Shock It spanks it in my opinion cause accord comes in a manual option. Which no Camry does! So Honda is still offering manual lovers a option. When so many other manufacturers have done away with the manual especially in a family sedan.
@Shock The comment clearly states that Honda is offering manual lovers a option. Is a win in my book! I understand the auto is faster in shifting! But for Honda to offer a manual in this day in age is a win over the camry regardless!
@Shock Honda is winning regardless by offering a manual transmission. There is no apple and oranges! For people who still prefer to row their own gears with a clutch and shifter!

Nothing standout as from previous 2018-2019 so it would be cheaper to get the 2019 Model year clearance. Still don't like the look.
