    I purchased the 2020 Honda Accord Touring 2.0 in March. I am very impressed with its performance, ride and comfort, as well as all the new technology. My Accord has two USB outlets in the back seat, just under the AC outlets. I also like how well the headlights light up the road; much better that our previous car, a 2011 Honda Accord V6/Navigation.

    Hurt 18' 1.5T accord sport owner here 😂. I took this thing vegas->phoenix->vegas and I had NO problem passing at all (then again it was only 2 adults and 2 backpacks). The speed at which you passed that bus is the same speed i also pass other slow vehicles. I believe the 1.5t is all you need, it picks up speed quick. You say if we need more power we should get the Camry V6, which is correct. But, you should quantify the statement by letting the viewers know that the 2.0T Accord smokes the V6 Camry if every single acceleration test, and I wont even bother to mention handling. Only the Mazda 6 can compete in that regard.

    • @DriveOnReviews
      @DriveOnReviews  Před 4 lety +3

      Yes I agree with what you’re saying but if you want 300+ horsepower that’s why I say getting the Camry with a V6 is better

    • @captainjack6890
      @captainjack6890 Před 4 lety +3

      @@DriveOnReviews Yes I agree. But that is just bragging to say I have a 300hp. The sound of the V6 is what the Accord cant match. I currently own one of these 2.0T Accords, used it to replace my 2014 Toyota Mark X 350g (not sold in the US, but you guys would love it) and the sound is all I'm missing. Overtaking is easier with the Accord. The Mark X wasnt slow....at all, but the torque available at low rpm in the Accord makes such maneuvers quicker. The Mark X was RWD by the way.

      The reason I got the 2.0 liter turbo Sport is the lower RPM's for longer distance traveling. My old Accord tachs out at 3k rpm, at 80 and it sounds like it's working hard; the Sport only 2.5K rpm. It's almost like have 2 cars; you've got the economy mode that leaves a real soft pedal so you don't burn gas, but if you press Sport, it really kicks up the response and torque.

  • @filmmakerstudios
    @filmmakerstudios Před 3 lety +3

    Honda lies about the power rating that engine outputs 280Hp and nearly 300 ft-lbs torque also the torque is delivered at the low and midrange of the power band whereas with a V6 you’d really have to rev it to get the power to kick in. I’d still preferred this 2.0 vtec turbo engine :) great review man you gained a sub here

    The Camry isn’t faster than the accord 2.0t even though it has a V6. The trd lost to it

      @@DriveOnReviews I must to get my hands on one, but Honda should realize that meant people would want the accord type R or an equivalent. It’s would be very sick, maybe even making the accord faster than the type r since it’s larger. They have more space to work with.

      @@DriveOnReviews Camry is t faster! It's 300 hp heavy, slow shifting, more hp doesn't mean faster all the time, there all lots of different variables that go into the acceleration than just hp
