@@ejvin7008 Pop in itself is nothing special but it's still very, very good. The special part about this is not the song but Cornelia herself. Because she have alot of personality and she express herself in a very honest way. Her voice stand out from the typical pop smooth voice and she is not just for pop but is more of an artistic artist that likes to do experimental pop rather than just typical pop. You can see that in her other songs and also her style in her music-videos that are a both unique and beautiful. She is the least generic pop artist we have had in ESC. Pop is also a very well listened genre that is loved by many so don't try to down talk her for doing pop. Most nations in ESC do pop or pop/ballad at least so how come only Sweden is suppose to being shamed for their pop and not other nations then they do it?

I just find it funny that a year when a lot of countries are going for flashy performances, Sweden, a country that very often does just that, instead goes for the most scaled back perfomance they have had in years.
@@Tintelinus Sometimes less is more! I like the simplicity of the staging. It just feels more raw and genuine that way.
@@Tintelinus She looked very relaxed and confident. She didn't need special effects because it was interesting to look at her. And the decorations looked very stylish. I don't like to compare, but the staging in Azerbaijan team was very funny and it didn't match the song and the performer who has a really strong voice

It's hard to find all the words to speak about this performance, this woman and this song. This might, easily, be one of the most stunning and heartfelt songs I've ever listened to in Eurovision and - very likely - my favourite Swedish entry of all time.
These vocals, this emotional delivery, this fragility and vulnerability, these chords and instrumental behind her Bonnie Tyler-like voice... Damn. Just damn. Shot an arrow straight to my heart that just will not leave.

The whole idea is about her voice being vulnerable and not perfect. A technique to show emotion and vulnerability. Her voice is incredible. Just listen to any acoustic version of hers, for example.

Listen to that audience!! It makes my heart expand to hear so many people root for my country. She had lost her voice sometime before the show and wasn’t allowed to speak for a while, she recovered fast enough to still perform, and it was all worth it. The rawness in her voice is so heartbreaking, it’s beautiful. I don’t care if she will make it or not, she did such an amazing and unforgettable performance.
