That's the UK song and artist. They found the right one at the wrong time. Sweden was only fourth so wouldn't have stood a prayer against the UK and Spain even without the sympathy vote for Ukraine.

@@victorgustafsson6988 As someone who enjoyed both Sweden's and Spain's song, both songs are very different and appeal for different reasons and both singers conveyed their songs greatly. Spain's song was more shallow in terms of what the lyrics were talking about, yes they were, does that make it a bad song? No, if it's appealing to the ear and people enjoy it I don't see what's wrong. + Even though it's a Song Festival, the stage they put out in the Festival matters a LOT and Chanel delivered great vocals while still showing great dance skills and stage presence, so I think undermining her as just "an ass-shaking Spaniard" is kind of rude and wrong :)
Sweden was my winner, but I would never be agaisnt Spain winning in 2022. Ukraine and UK weren't it for me, though, just not my style.

Non so chi vincerà,ma ho ascoltato il collage delle canzoni e per quei pochi istanti di ogni canzone,ho trovato tutti molto bravi e delle anche cose di Musica diciamo Etnica, che mi hanno veramente colpito la mia attenzione,in quanto da giovane ho avuto la fortuna di essere ospite in tali Paesi e poter ascoltare la Musica Etnica o Popolare,canti tradizionali,lo stile tipico di tali Paesi,che mi è proprio entrata nel cuore e che ho apprezzato e continuo ad apprezzare ancora adesso e apprezzerò per sempre. Voglio ascoltare tutte le performance,ma credo che la Giuria quest'anno si troverà un po' in difficoltà a scegliere chi vincerà.

This song and performance was the right one at the wrong time. Everything is on another level - the singing, lyrics, performance, music.. She wrote this herself with her best friend(s), and it really comes through, just listen to the audience singing and cheering with her. Congratulations Cornelia to a masterful appearance! While I put this song on my #2 following Portugal as my #1, if you truly want lyrics on another level, you've got to listen to Mark Knopfler, Colin Hay, Gregory Alan Isakov or Iron and Wine.
Ever since hearing songs made by any of them, ESC songs are never good enough when comparing lyrics.

Even a year later, this is still one of my all time favourite songs that came from Eurovision. She became my most listened artist in 2022 because her voice always gives me goosebumps. I genuinely don't know how she came in fourth. The fact that this was not at least top three is crazy to me. I genuinely think she deserved the win in 2022 more than Käärijä did in 2023, and people are basically rioting.
Such a gem, such a good song, such an iconic performance. I hope she gets another guest appearance in 2024.
One of my favourite all-time Eurovision entries. Beautiful lyrics, sentiment and musical composition - an overall stunning performance and a modern day ESC classic. Still listening to this on a regular basis 2 years on and probably will do for a long time to come.

This was also my favourite song and I'm playing it frequently.
However, I just think her singing was not good enough at the start of the song. Mumbled and out of tune. Her soaring vocals at the end are much better.
Ukraine was just way to dominant in the tele vote. I also think Sweden and the UK ended up taking televotes from eachother. Sweden drew Serbia in the televote in the semi but Serbia beat Sweden in the finals.
It makes sense, both songs where quite similar in that they where strong vocal perfomances without "gimmicks"

By watching this video you can't see the reason why the crowd was so fired up during this song, the audience obviously liked the song and that was shown in the voting as well, but the song previous to this one completely changed the atmosphere and the audience in the arena became way more engaged and they stayed that way basically to the end of Eurosong.

I'm always going to remember the face of my mom when she saw Sweden, she was so sure Spain was gonna win but after that last high note she said "That's it, she's the winner, Sweden is the winner", and after Ukraine won she was so mad because she really thought it was gonna be between Spain and Sweden... thanks to 2022 for giving us the Eurovision with some of the greatest songs ever. I got goosebumps at the top of the minute 2.56
From Canada and have seen a musical number here and there from Eurovision in the past but this was my first time checking out all of them. There were a couple I'll listen to again but this is BY FAR my favourite. The song, the vocals, the staging, camera shots, everything was incredible and I've watched this video many, many times already.

She was incredible, probably the best of all her performances. I was hoping she would do the "GIVE ME THE NIIIIGHT" like she did in her winner performance in Melodifestivalen, AND SHE DID! I got goosebumps❤️I think the winners deserved to win, but to me this sound like a winner song, it's just so powerful! Grattis Cornelia till en fjärde plats, Sverige är så stolta!❤️

Yea that almost primal scream was awesome. She made a good delivery: for many of us it was the lyrics, for other the simplicity in the performance. Took me 3 months to like it; then the lyrics hit me

Last year when Maneskin won the Eurovision for about a month straight I used to listen to there song every day I was obsessed . Now I am listening this song every day to like I did with Maneskin I guess this song was my winner this year … I know she didn’t win the Eurovision but she definitely win my time . I spend such a huge time of my day listening to this song
