What rpm should the venom run at on idle,I've just bought one with an aftermarket exhaust on I'm doing the jets as I plan to fit an aftermarket air filter too I love the bike and will be keeping it its a 16 plate
What needle setting do I need put it on if there's a hesitation on 1.2 throttle 3.4 throttle as egr delete standard exhaust perfect pulled off buy soon as I pull 3.4 there's hesitate not sure if standard carb or cg one just needed to know so can sort that out many thanks

Bought my Venom SE and its in London! How are you finding the standard tyres and have you informed your insurance of the changes? What are the first few bits I should do? In 5th gear my bike hardly pulls. Fourth gear gets me to 50-55 and 5th just about 60.
Dimerz also if it's brand new you shouldn't be trying to get the max speed of the bike and it needs breaking in you will ruin the engine just take it slow for the first 600miles and oil change and it should pull better especially with a carb upjet and exhaust
Agh alright, rode 270 miles yesterday from Bodmin Parkway near Plymouth to London. Wow was it a ride. haha Yeah, bikes done around 700-800 miles now. Had to put 10W40 oil in it at the petrol station, that's alright aint it? Need to do a service for it, will the modifications on the bike in anyway affect the servicing of the vehicle?
Dan, please help, I have A Venom myself, heats when same as yours but in Blue and white. My bike struggles to get past 50mph It heats when you're doing top speed in my case it is 50:/ how can I know what the problem is?
Like Dan said it is probably the valve clearance as when they are restricted it makes start up a lot more difficult and reduces acceleration and top end speed I have 5000 miles on my venom few mods here and there and can comfortably get 70mph in 4th and 5th gear.
Hi mate, I'm working on my venom at the moment. The extra airbox restrictor in front of the airbox? What should I do with it. I'm considering taking it off and bunging the hole or I could put some filter foam over it and keep a hole. Any advice? Thanks
Thanks mate. I've just had to take the whole head off to reseal the gaskets, it's been a right pain. I'm glad your doing some helpful videos. I've removed the weighty drop bar aswell. Cheers
dan ive fitted a new exhaust and exhaust pipe and put a 105 jet in. but the garage said im losing back pressure. any ideas how to make back pressure better?
Only thing is my pilot jet runs rich and my main jet is perfect thing is there is no 37 main jet anywhere so I might take in more air then up jet the main jet oh and I've got a full system black widow 350mm the big open pipe
Hi i got honda cg carb on my venom think mine is not running right i know its running 35pilot jet and 97 main i got standard air box and exhaust any advice u can give oplz with running evan top end bit flat sport only difference is egr delete

why have you put on a kawasaki sticker on a lexmoto?

Get an air conpressor and disconnected the fuel line etc n just blast the jets lol

Dimerz the standard tires arnt bad atall in good wether I even managed to get my knee down but in winter and rain they arnt good

SimplyYoung it's probably due to your carb and maybe you valve clearances

Whats the original jet size in the Venom im going to get the cg carb but want to go up a jet size

lols my xtrs has a cbr600 carb on it and they are 126 main jet but have 180 head on it so might help lols bigger vavles and that

THE LIAM SHOW cut it out ahah
You can get it out in one piece by removing the rear shock which gives you enough space to coax it out the right side of the frame
Haha damm what a nightmare that airbox was. Had to get the coping saw out 😂
