Historia de la canción:
-El Rey se despertó temprano para manejar los asuntos del reino y fue a ver a la Reina, tanto para saber cómo está como porque sospecha que tiene un amante, así que finge ser el amante de su mujer. La Reina, absorta en sus ensoñaciones, admite abiertamente que estaba teniendo un affair con Anderlino, su primer enamorado y con el que tenía dos hijos, junto con los hijos que tenía con el Rey. El Rey se entera de ello y comprensiblemente enfurecido, le dice a la Reina de una forma muy sutil que será ejecutada por adulterio(el vestido blanco es la túnica que llevan los condenados a muerte y el collar colorado es la marca roja que se queda en el cuello tras un ahorcamiento).
Story of the song:
-The King woke up early to take care of the kingdom's affairs and went to see the Queen, both to see how she was and because he suspected she had a lover, so he pretended to be said lover. The Queen, too absorbed in her daydreaming, she openly admits about having an affair with Anderlino, her first love and whom she has two sons, along with those she has with the King. The King catches wind of this and understandably angered, he subtly announces the Queen that she is going to be executed for adultery (the white dress is the dress the condemned to death wear and the coloured collar is the mark that is left after a hanging).
