I am so proud of Mike Douglas and what he has accomplished in his skiing and filmmaking endeavours. I love these Salomon movies that he's putting out and I just signed up for my AST 1 at Whistler to begin my own journey in the backcountry. While I'll always take the time to enjoy resort skiing with family and friends, the backcountry and all it has to offer is calling to me and as Mike says at the end of this video, it's a part of the Mosaic that I need to experience while my body is able. Thank you for the inspiration, Mike!
Humbling guys. The thoughts about slowing down sometimes, and spirits of fallen friends being with us on the mountain, spot on. Thats exactly how being outdoors in the wild makes me feel as well. Good food for the soul.
I do not charge hard, I am old, I just enjoy the small things, the landscape, the beauty of the mountains, the landscape, the beer after a good day of joy...
Man I just love it when you guys come to my country and go to places I've already been and then you show me some stuff with a totally different and breathtaking angle.

Hey Mike! I was just wondering what is the coldest temperature that you have skied in?
+moneymulamostart -46c. It was a World Cup moguls event in Le Relais, Quebec back in the early 90s. My pole baskets broke off in my first run and people were getting frostbite in 30 seconds. I felt so bad for the event volunteers. FIS put a low temp limit on events after that one. Brrrrrr!

What happened to SFSTV this year? Was my favourite thing. Really looked forward to each new release. Then it just stopped.
