  • The only thing greater than this group of skier's desire to claim a first ski descent on Greenland's second highest peak is the size of their carbon footprint to get there. Loaded with guilt, they decide to bring along renowned glaciologist, Alun Hubbard, who’s scientific hypothesis, if proven, could rewrite popular projections of global sea-level rise. However, the entire expedition is put in question when they arrive in Greenland and discover their objective is beyond the range of all available aircraft. Shot on location in Greenland

Nice movie - lived in Tasiilaq from 2003-2009, and did an expedition to Mont Forel in 2004. It is even greater than shows in the movie. By the way - skiing on the Ammassalik Island whereabouts Tasiilaq lies is amazing

Wonderful project and a very important one. We all take advantage of carbon and we are all guilty of consuming probably too much. Thank you for making this film, an incredible film, a must see and share.

that way the ones of us who can't travel there can still witness it
alternatively, pls link the continuing research of Alun Hubbard :D

I'm an archive researcher working on a Discovery Channel docu-series (yet to air) called Secrets in the Ice. The show looks at what is being revealed as the ice melts and permafrost thaws.
One of our episodes focuses on The Mummy of George Mallory and if he was the first to climb everest . We are interested in using your footage in the episode to help tell this story. Please let me know if this is possible. Thank you

Hm, I can't think of a better reason why the sled dogs were pooping an ruining your "experience". Perhaps because they haven't been allowed and have had space to do their business before having to work. Certainly one dog with diarhea everywhere on his/her butt should be a concern, if not for you guys who are being carried, than the musher.
