      You need enscape 3.5.6 and higher and vray 6.2

    But you should also compare speed and quality of V-Ray engine with Bucket sampler and Lightcache+Irradiance Map technique. That's where V-Ray takes huge advantage)

      If you do with Bucket sampler and Lightcache+Irradiance Map, then the quality of realism will be far worse than corona, even less than chaosvantage. That method was only used 5 years ago

    Actually there is no compare between corona R and vray R because the first use path tracing that is more powerful than the ray tracing which vray use so corona dealing with lightning much more better than vray. I don't know why vray don't use the path tracing which I think it will be the future of the engine render in the future. But I think that chaos add corona to there company so they have the tow engine each with different types of algorithm (path&ray) tracing.

    The unfortuate thing is that Chaos group own both render engines, so its not in their best inerests to give one all the bells and whistles and instead make them both have pros and cons.

    Hmm... both the render engine has their strengths and weaknesses, but being from blender background, their workflow gives me a headache. Its like constant fiddeling with controls and plugins. Whereas in cycles, you are done with just a few clicks. Also the realtime workflow is faster in cycles. Among Vray and Corona, corona looks a better choice, but that 3ds max workflow and its UI makes me wanna vomit on my PC everytime I open it.

    • @MIMVizStudio
      @MIMVizStudio  Před 3 měsíci +1

    • @sambagyarta
      @sambagyarta Před 2 měsíci +1

      On the contrary, I feel using blender is counterproductive to me. Importing from sketchup often gives me inconsistent accuracy (missing objects, improper quads, etc).
      And what makes me want to stick to 3ds max is the ability to group objects flawlessly and separate them by layers. In blender, you can use container, but putting objects in container takes lot of time. In my projects, grouping is a must, I have to make around 300+ groups on average before I start working on my scene.
      Also, the ability to access multiple professional 3d assets such as 3dsky, bendtrade, etc. is what separate professional archviz artist from hobbyist using blender.

    • @MIMVizStudio
      @MIMVizStudio  Před 2 měsíci

      Thank you for your comment and opinion🙂@@sambagyarta

    • @jarvizstudio
      @jarvizstudio Před 2 měsíci

      @@sambagyarta Yeah I agree on the sketchup part but a good archviz artist will never look towards SketchUp other than just to import some assets which work quiet seamlessly with newer versions of sketchup importer plugin.
      I have never used grouping so I wont know how that works or make the life easier but I think most of those can be taken care of with the collections and also parenting. Different workflows I guess, but what I like is the ability to work without even moving my mouse to fiddle with the tabs and buttons and that clumpsy autodesk UI. Its the UI that bugs me the most and it just gives me headache.
      Also having a huge library is good but its also so much time consuming to select the objects. But blender is also catching up pretty fast with blenderkit and other libraries. Also the professional libraries have already started giving out their blender versions so that's not much of a big deal. So lets enjoy what we have build the best we can.
      All these opinions are my personal. I started by learning 3ds max but was quickly bored with so many windows, tabs and buttons and the UI that I had to drop and move to Cinema4d. And after that to blender. But its good that Vray is coming to blender too. Hopefully we will be able to enjoy the best of both the worlds.
