Gotta be honest, Kenny Pickett is really growing on me. I didn't think he was it but I'm really liking him.
He conducts himself very well. He's looking more and more like our Franchise quarterback!!

I expect year 2 will be a breakout season for Kenny. Kid loves the game of football.. loves to compete. The offensive playbook was watered down in order for the offensive line and the rookie QB to get up to speed along with the running game. The 2nd part of the season showed alot of where this team can go. Make some adjustment with the downfield play calling, have a good running game and a solid defense and we are in the playoffs... Excited about 2023
Breakout season under Canada? LOL And let's not forget they squeaked by sub .500 teams in the 2nd half of the year with the exception of a Ravens team with no Lamar and it took a last minute TD just to do that. People getting all hyped about next year need to temper their expectations because the same stooge will be in charge of the offense I like your positivity but I'm trying to be realistic here

I'm excited by the OL....they all played well down the stretch and they're all very young. Media wants to always dwell on the negative.....but these guys can produce and with some free agent acquisitions, the Steelers line will not only hold their own BUT dominate.

Was anyone talking about Patrick Mahomes his first year no was anyone hyping up Justin Herbert when drafted no was anyone talking about Daniel Jones or Dak Prescott NO give the man time it was his first year and he helped us keep a positive season an almost make the playoffs his second year will tell all that's needed and I believe in him fully he will show his worth an that Mike T was right getting his QB1 in the first round 🖤💛
I think Josh Allen is the best example - he was called the biggest bust in the draft and everyone was talking about how dumb they were to have picked him. Now they talk about him as one of the best in the league.
I think he was impressed by how Manning studied film. Over the next couple years he will be making more audibles, as he understands the defenses more. Already back in the film room.

@@skygage2499 he has not excuse now and I honestly believe we’ll make and o-line move or two that’ll solidify that. I believe Kenny taking a next step with Canada going into next season with all of this talent and potential we’re gonna see a high powered offense. We have speed, power, athleticism and we’ll have more experienced guys.

No clue why we don’t fire a OC who didn’t break 28 points more than 2 times maybe and had one of our receivers go with out a touchdown the ENTIRE YEAR. Like cmon

"We" dug ourselves to big a hole. haha I bet he sooo wanted to say "Mitch" dug a hole. But actually, Kenny started slow too. AND....I used to blame Mitch solely for missing playoffs, based on Ravens debacle (3 INTs). But now, I see shared blame. 1) Miami beat us head to head to get the wildcard. In Miami game, Kenny threw 2 picks in final 2 drives of game, down 6 and IN FG range. So that was an early season rookie mistake game. 2) Defense blew Kenny's first appearance ever in Jets game. Kenny ran 2 in and we had 10 point lead early 4th. NO TJ hurt, but still defense gives up 14 points and we lose. Now, looking at whole season. Kenny won his last 5 games. (Mitch gets the W vs Panthers and L vs Ravens.). Overall, Mitch went 3-2, but had no business winning Bengals game with AWFUL performance and awful game plan, only won due to missed extra point. So technically, Steeler nation should be relieved we even had a chance for over .500 and playoffs (cuz that miracle win vs Bengals should not have occurred). Kenny went 6-4 and only 1 bad loss. - Sadly it was the aforementioned Miami game, other than that, Bengals, Bills, Eagle beat him. So 3-2 and 6-4 ---that's 15 games accounted for. I am not going to give Ls for Jets and Ravens games as it was near 50/50 split time in those games. All in all, I see Pickett for 10+ years being great and achieving a career like Ben's or better(Kenny can run). And I hope its Pickett to Pickens for same time frame, but Georgoe could leave if offense doesn't open up.
If Kenny is going to win a Superbowl it is in the next four or five years while he is on his rookie contract. Then he will have a big payday and it’s hard to keep a great team around him. That happened with Ben.

Looking at Kenny physically I sort of hope he puts 10 or 15 pounds on and build up arm and leg mussels be a help to him absorbing hits and strength to break away from some tackles or sacks. not that he is doing to bad as he is. You can tell he is very intelligent the way he speaks ...
The steelers and lions both started horrible but finished great with 9 wins but didnt make the playoffs

I've been a Steelers fan since Bradshaw was our QB, but I'm this close to giving up on my team. Matt Canaduh again ! I don't believe Pickett's going to ever be a Superbowl winner, but you just guaranteed his career will end in failure. It's great we don't fire coaches willy nilly, but when let your identity dissuade you from making good choices it's a problem. Mike Tomlin may never have a losing season, heck they found a way to finish 500 in a 17 game season, but the last 5 years the offense has been disfunctional at best and our draft picks have been mostly busts. Mediocre is not a way to go through life. Seriously another year given away so we can be the team that doesn't cycle through coaches, and stop letting Tomlin pick his coaches. The last great assistant coach we've had was LaBeau. My last Steelers rant for the year, I hope

If you watched the all 22 tape this year you would've seen there were guys running wide open not getting the pass, guys not hitting the open hole on run plays, the #1 wr is best known for drops, the oline missing blocks are all things that the oc has no control over

Please look up NFL dropped passes leaders and you'll see names like Chase, Davis, Kelce, Cooper Diggs etc all ahead of Dionte in dropped passes and none of them besides Kelce (152) were targeted as many times as Dionte (147). I'm not saying he's as good as the guys I mentioned but the drop narrative is lazy and false. He does plenty of other things to complain about without making things up
