      indeed, rim brake takes like 5 seconds to adjust, but the problem is that it has less braking power and it has no hydraulic system. I use rim brakes, and I don't have much problem with them tho

      Never had a problem with rim brake power even going 40mph+ as long as you use quality pads and have decent well adjusted calipers(piece of piss) you're good to go.

    I'm going out and ride my totally silent rim brake bike immediately. Hopefully, that will help me "unhear" that disc brake squeal. That torturous sound should be outlawed by the Geneva Convention.

    I have Campy 12 disc brakes and they were very noisy when even slightly wet. I switched to swissstop pads. Problem solved and amazing stopping power with very nuanced application

    nice fix until you push the pistons back and it starts leaking oil.. some person on the www said you have to open iirc the bleedvalve before doing this. some calipers don't like it when pistons get pushed back without some relief

    Actually I rode this morning and my disc brake were rubbing and I adjusted my quick release and it fixed the rubbing 😅 sorry for my english tho

      Yes nothing to worry about, my bike wasn't set correctly at the front derailleur and i made a few turns on the screw and everything was okay

    Please don't use that tool, I'm surprised park tool even make it anymore. Just use a plastic tyre lever, your ceramic pistons will thank you.

      The tool is actually not supposed to be used directly on the pistons but with the brake pads still in place. But you are right, if applied directly on the pistons it can seriously damage them.

    The fix is to adjust the brakes correctly… or just ride a bike with rim brakes like a normal person

    Never ever ever ever use disk brakes. That Gets rid of all disk brake problems. Who need the extra weight and headaches. Never ever worth it. Ask Froomey

    Tried both before and it didn’t work I had to spin my wheel and push the caliber back and forth a bit and retighten

      ... /... , b/c. they drive on differents sides of the road : the 'Froggies' goes by the right SIDE of the road and need left hand to signal to others road users and activate the rear brake with right hand . The 'Beefeaters' goes by the left SIDE of the road and need right hand to comunicate with others drivers and brake the rear tire with Left SIDE hand . I hope i'm right.

      @@MarioXcore1 I do have a MTB with disc and their great but you do not need a disc on a road bike, extra spokes for compliance the extra weight the rubbing the locking up brakes the bleeding of the brakes absolute nightmare. Why bother. Road bikes are simple machines with simple components...I supose they soon have double rotors with abs...watch this space LOL
