Poking holes with a pin 100% solved my problem! Then I did some cleaning with an extra soft toothbrush to remove any further debris. THANK YOU!! S9 Plus

You, sir, have all my respect and the biggest thank you! I've been struggling with low calls volume through the earpiece for months. My husband has tried to talk me into having it repaired or getting a new phone, which would set me back a good few hundred pounds! Not something I would like to forecast for at the moment. Kept cleaning the earpiece with the toothbrush and could see some little pieces of dirt coming out. So I was hopeful! It was only after when I made a phone call when I actually realised that the volume is back to normal. Saved me from getting a new phone. I first used a dry toothbrush, then dipped the tip of the brush in to some rubbing alcohol, rubbed the speaker/inlet and now my calls come in good (I held phone face down so liquid didn't run into phone). Thank you.
