- The Seattle Sounders suffered a 2-1 defeat on the road against DC United at Audi Field on Saturday night. Léo Chú opened the scoring for the Rave Green, but the hosts responded with a pair of goals from Christian Benteke before the halftime interval.
Sounders will be playing next year’s club world cup and this is our squad ?!

Rewatch the buildup play leading to the penalty and remind me that the Sounders are a "good" defensive team. When there is no pressure on the ball, you need to drop defensively to protect against a route 1 ball over the top.
Sadly Brian should have retired after the ccl championship

It doesn't even look like Frei actually prevented him from scoring, since the striker's last touch was likely too heavy.. Desperate and ugly to play the man like that, and I hope Stef will avoid playing like this in the future. As a long time Sounders fan, who loves Stefan, I would rather see us lose with honest sportsmanship, respect and dignity, than win with shade or desperate dishonesty.
This red card is a mess

That red card was unnecessary. Frei barely touched him and he went down after realizing he touch was too far ahead of him. What a joke this team/referees are.
The rule should be that if the attacking player cannot get to the ball, there should not be a foul or a red card.
