team played hard, Schmetzer still has the team bought in. Haven't played well this season but tonight I felt like we got a little unlucky and the team busted their ass and produced chances. We just need a new front line.

These post-game interviews are getting super awkward.

The last season I remember starting this bad was 2016 which resulted in Sigi getting fired.

Schmetzer has been a legendary coach for the Sounders, but it’s time for someone new. And several players need to go with.

I have to say that we out played DC in the 2nd half. I liked Obed’s size/speed up top. They fought hard. I like Baker as left back, and I do think it’s time to look at Benching C Roldan after we get healthier. He just doesn’t have it anymore, he just can’t finish. I really like him as a person and a competitor, but he’s not the same since the concussion(s).

I'm just not sure what people expect a new coach to do. We have subpar players, which is on Waibel. We had multiple injuries on pristine surfaces in Spain. That's on staff and medical. Brian's not supposed to have to be a wizard. Replacing him alone will fix nothing.

They just ar3 short of where MLS is today. All about own and front office not providing players who can compete and win.

I feel as soon as he has his “regulars” all available he’s just going to keep starting them, even though we are clearly much better at creating when certain outside backs aren’t on the field, I hope Brian takes a lesson from this going forward. Now about the finishing…..

How many L’s do we have to take to let Brian go?

He didn't think Frei's red was justified? That was a textbook example of a DOGSO red.

After the run of form since CCL and Garth’s departure it’s weird how comfortable BS sounds about his job. No other coach would be safe in a similar situation

I think if we don't win or draw 2 out of the next 3 games there needs be some better "processes"

🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️ clueless in getting this turned around! It’s a shame that the World Cup is coming to Seattle and our franchise is in complete disarray! Not the world stage that they wanted to display to the world but yet here we are ! Brian helped immensely, but the league as a whole, are leaving the Sounders in their dust! Hopefully a search is going on in the background for a replacement coach.

We will eventually need a new head coach, I love Brian, but he has been struggling since he lost Gonzo, Ezra, Henderson and other critical coaching staff. My suggestion is we invest in some new really good assistant coaches, let them garner from Brian what they can for a season, and then swap out the Head coach next season. That way Preki and new coaches can pass forward the positive aspects of Brian's culture, while still bringing in a Great Refresh.

How do you have confidence in your abilities when your record is this poor?
