I believe the “setback” question was due to the frequent turnovers in midfield that have plagued our season(so far) and showed up again this game. We are getting killed in transition. Bunker defense- dispossess/counter strike is seeming to be the tactical rock to our scissors. 🤷🏻♂️ Giorgi was fun to watch and played direct…THROUGH two defenders to get at goal on a couple occasions. RSL had to commit three defenders to covering him near the box and I’m still scratching my head as to how we didn’t take advantage of him pulling the two additional defenders out of position in the box. I hope we sign that kid, I’d like to see him develop more with the club. Heartbreaking to see Chu go down. Wishing him a speedy recovery.
Brian, Brian, Brian... This isn't a "hard" league so stop saying that. It's about knowing that you need to learn to adapt to the league. Take for instance, Inter Miami, they were amongst the bottom teams in the league for years. They made a plethora of impactful signings just this past offseason including Suarez, and arguably the world's greatest (Messi) and look at them now. Take the LA Galaxy, who haven't been relevant in the league for the past roughly 10 years, have now completely turned it around this season. If they can do it, so can we (you)! Love this club, grew up with it and it breaks my heart at the state its in. Nothing but a shadow of its former self. No more excuses, Brian. Time to step up or step aside.
Brian can only use the players he has. This team needs a Lodeiro to unlock everyone’s strengths. Rusnak is not that player. JP is not that player. Vargas is not that player. There’s no one on the team who can dictate tempo. We all know Brian wouldn’t have survived as head coach all the way at the beginning, 2016, if not for Nico. Also, injury bug, again…
It's a coaches job to get the most out of the players and create a successful gameplay that fits the skillsets of the players on the field. Basically every player on the roster is playing their worst season as a Sounder and his tactics are extremely predictable and not setting the team up for success. We definitely need better talent to be a trophy contender, but a good coach would at least have this roster at a .500 or slightly better record. I'm not saying Brian is historically bad, but he's clearly been figured out by the rest of the league and he has no idea how to evolve.
Brian I love you but I'm not happy with you you've let this stain a narrative dictate our club the club that you play for the club that you defend the club that you give everything to fix it dig deep and give a crap for once
The defence isn't so much the problem. We still have one of the best defensive record in the league this season. The problem is our inability to score goals. If you score more goals than you concede, you'll always put yourself in the best situation to win games and we aren't doing that.
Commentary”Jordan getting subbed on will be an immediate impact.”
SpongeBob “5 years later! No impact!”

I wore my fav sounders jersey to AEW show last night to support the team. I did everything I could to support !!
Does Brian really need to look at the tape? I don't even need to watch the game to know.
Can someone ask Brian why the Sounders are so impotent on offensive corner kicks?
Same story all the time .
Schmetzer out

Damn dude, you know it's bad when you've broken Caleb, the most loyal Brian supporter I've ever known
Sounders defense sucks

Its time to fire Brian Schmetzer and move on
Why say some reasons why during season injuries have hurt them give it time
Time to resign while you are on top.
