Jiří Procházka (born October 14, 1992) is a Czech mixed martial artist. He currently competes in the Light Heavyweight division in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he is the current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. He was the inaugural Rizin Fighting Federation Light Heavyweight Champion and the inaugural Gladiator Fighting Championship Light Heavyweight Champion. As of August 23, 2022, he is #10 in the UFC men's pound-for-pound rankings.
Procházka is well-known as a devoted follower of the Bushido principles, the samurai moral values and the Miyamoto Musashi's teachings and philosophy, especially the Musashi's The Book of Five Rings, which Procházka considered as a life-changing book for him. - Sport

The calmness on Jiri's face in that picture always amazes me. In the most grueling battle of his life with the highest stakes, the man kept calm and never gave up on himself. He's a freak, in the best of ways.

this isnt about MMA, this is about the human psyche. We are doing what most comes natural to humans, thats why mma fighters are so relatable.
You along with jiri has just elevated my entire mindset... I've even started reading five rings again to get prepared for my next fight
One of my favourite fighters currently which is down to his adoration for traditional martial arts. He doesn't let his mind get wrapped up in what's popular, but rather on what is right and what is wrong, and all of those things that are wrong in his life... he works out how to make those wrong things a thing of the past. We as human beings can learn a lot from how Jiri lives his life as he seems to have it worked out.
Dude every fuckin video you put out is just a masterpiece. I dont know what if any CZcams goals you have, but you deserve so many more subs. Your docs are one of the reasons I went from a casual MMA fan to an actual fan. To be able to transfer your enthusiasm for MMA using the medium of documentaries is truly incredible. What parts did I miss???
One thing stand out about Jiri, he doesnt need the medias & fans telling him how the fight is going on, he immediately know how bad his performance is. Theres no DOCTOR STOPPAGE or I ONLY COUNT KNOCKOUTS bs excuse from him.
That is how great he is, being conscious of the situation but calm enough to pull off a last minute victory.

Your videos tell the great stories. Fighters have some of the most interesting backstories. The video on Nganno was a work of art. Jiri is such a throwback, and has a high knockout rate. He has embraced that inner chi to become the champion he is.
