I think things are pretty clear. Jones has one, maybe two, paydays left. He ran from LHW after Reyes got robbed and it was clear that guys like Reyes and Santos were catching up (and LHW has only gotten better since then). Dana wants to maximize those paydays, while Jones wants to retire undefeated.
