I tested it myself and got different results. I got one to half bar with my vanilla grunt, the second one to a quarter bar with my +1 grunt and the 3rd one nearly killed with my +2 grunt. I think you got these results due to the flying things starting to attack randomly. Infantry upgrades DO affect grunts.

I don't have a video. You can even see the differences in your video. Normal grunts have 3 health bar sections and +3 grunts have 4. I think there are these results are so different because of 2 reasons. Those flying things don't attack at the same time and Grunts lose fire power because of dying units. In a 3v1 upgrades don't make much of a difference than in a 1v1
Even if that's true, the Grunts still should have done more damage to the sentinel. The Infantry Upgrade is two-fold: HP increase and Damage increase. The Grunt CLEARLY did not do more damage even with full Infantry Upgrade. One or two seconds of sentinel AI attacking/not attacking doesn't change that fact.
This video actually proves it works. Look at the health bars.
Un upgraded: 3 hp
Fully upgraded: 4 hp
Thats ~30% as the upgrade specifies.
Were you expecting a 10% upgrade to somehow make a single Grunt able to kill a sentinel?
Also the last Grunt upgrade is giving it 5 hp total.
remember that the Infantry Upgrade is MEANT to be two-fold: HP increase and Damage increase. You could argue that the HP increase was negated by sentinels attacking at different times, but the Grunt CLEARLY did not do more damage to a single sentinel, even with full Infantry Upgrade. My point still stands: Infantry upgrade does not affect Grunts AS ADVERTISED.
FurryMurry7 this test is completely unscientific, if you ever had some sort of scientific method course you should know why. Not trying to be an ass, just trying to point out every test was flawed, specially the last one how the sentinel almost got out of the field of vision.
You must try this against a stationary target, try it out against an unupgraded jackrabbit for example, a unit that can't fight back. Since you already proved the upgrade does what advertises in the health department, now you just need to prove on the dps department.

Actually, this was never proven at all. It APPEARS that the health bar is larger, but in practice it doesn't seem to BE larger. On 4 different tests with 4 different grunts, each of them died at the EXACT same moment in the test: The sentinel got down to half health and then it died. If the grunt's health actually was growing as it was upgraded, it would have lasted a little bit longer each time, and dealt out a little bit more total damage during its lifespan. This clearly did not happen at all, no matter what level the upgrade was at. This does not strike me as a coincidence. Thank you for your feedback, but you need to do more than just "look" at the health bars, you actually need to test them to make sure they work. It wouldn't be the first time we had a video game with untrustworthy health bars.
FurryMurry7 do you actually believe that. 10% is almost unnoticeable in a single Grunt. There's so many ways to test this. Your test is so difficult to measure, you're pretty much measuring by sight, how is that proving at all?
In your last test, the Grunt actually killed a sentinel, isn't that telling you something?
How about figuring out if a squad "1unit" of marines or grunts loses damage or dps output when they are lower hp. it feels like so just would like to know 4sure

Hey FurryMurry. I like your content that you present, but this video is lacking. The test that you set up is not a true test. You are going against three sentinels that are attacking at different times. What needs to happen is for your grunts to go against a single set of marines. I can do this test with you if you want. inf , vehicle and air global upgrads affect all, excluding heroes and super units. infantry level 1 gives a marine with combat mechanic gives them 5 health bars instead of four, for example.
air level 2 provides anders sentinels with 5 bars of health instead of 4 (after her leader power passive upgrades regarding the health of her sentinels).
they dont need to be trained from the same building providing the upgrade to recieve the benefits.
I did this test with Marines, and got slightly different results from the Grunts. I will post the results soon.
FurryMurry7 you need to consider that marines have significantly more health and dps than grunts.
You also need to consider that Marines cost more supplies.
FurryMurry7 arent you just testing the results from each unit by itself per upgrade? matching 300 supplies of grunts vs 300 supplies of marines is a diffierent study of effectiveness.

havent seen ur vids for a while but yeah been busy with school. and bruh do you really like halo war 2? i beat the campaign and all but i cant seem to enjoy the game so i just stick to the definitive edition way better and so so much easier to play in my opinion

a really bad test just get your friend to have a grunt with updates and you have a grunt with no upgrades and get them to fight but your test is bad because your testing it with dum Ai on the power points.
dum Ai is the best
Pointless video. grunts are infantry so yea no shit the infantry upgrade works
