I wish I had halo wars 2. I have played it before, at PAX East where I got hella rewards bc my team (My brother, his friend and I) got to the highest round they had ever seen. IT WAS AWESOME. But I mainly only got a 20% discount to Halo Wars 2

is it not as important to scout the enemy to see if they might rush as in halo wars 1?
That doesn't apply so much in HW2. There is no definite "rush setup" like there was in HW1. It's much more difficult (or impossible) to know for sure IN ADVANCE that your opponent will definitely rush.For example, the build order I used in this video COULD be used to rush, or it could be used to set up another base. If my base was locked, my opponent would have ABSOLUTELY NO WAY of knowing if I was making a bunch of units to rush or not.
i love that you use suicide grunts and mines. not many HW2 youtubers use them. why dont you get engineers in the early game? they can help the choppers a lot.
Thanks for your comments! Engineers are less useful in the early game, since they end up dying more often; and the low-level units in the beginning of the game die regardless of whether they have Engineers or not. Engineers are better spent protecting mid-level units that are more resilient.
FurryMurry7 what i meant was that you could keep the engineers back and let some of your weak units go to them to regenerate. that way they could pay for themselfs in saved choppers and grunts. iv seen you send back some weak units only for them to rush back in and die. its only a suggestion you could try it a little bit. if its too much micrio then its okay not to use it but iv seen it in action and it looks great.
ps i dont mean save every unit just some. theres some situations were it works.

sentinels got nerfed recently
lol, the sentinels destroyed my base and turrets extremely quickly...maybe TOO quickly. Perhaps a nerf was in order.
On the other hand, if I had made my turrets a little earlier, those sentinels wouldn't have stood a chance. So maybe the sentinels DIDN'T need to be nerfed. Perhaps players just needed to get better at learning defensive strategies.
