2014-2016 Audi A6 3.0 P242B00 P246F00 P242A00 Check Engine Light. Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor.

Today we have a 2016 Audi A6 with the 3.0 engine that is throwing an intermittent check engine light with codes P242B00, P246F00, and P242A00. The only current code in the system was for sensor 3, but based on pending doc's and scan tool data we replaced #3 and #4 as well. The scan tool data was kind of dodgy so replacing all 4 at the same time might not be a bad idea. They are relatively simple to get to and replace. Dorman makes a sensor with a thread repair sleeve if one is needed. This process should be the same on 2014 Audi A6, 2015 Audi A6, and 2016 Audi A6 with the 3.0L engine.
