    Great video. If you are taking suggestions for future videos I would love to see one about just using the scan tool for a test drive. A video that focuses on no code problems where you teach how to interpret every single clue from OBD2 with a test drive before you even open the hood. I think that is where everyone needs the most help. Thanks.

    when you say that the o2 upstream low or normal what is meant? normal fluctuating? and low? to stay at a low constant value? example 0.3 volt...?

    • @electron-john
      @electron-john  Před 5 měsíci +2

      Thank you for responding. What I meant was that a high voltage value on an oxygen sensor represents a rich mixture while a low voltage of say .2 represents a lean exhaust content. So a low voltage that has fluctuation represents a good sensor because it is fluctuating and a lean exhaust content. OBD 2 rule of thumb is that it should fluctuate within 100ms or less to be considered a sensor that is not biased.

      I will try to do a short at some point in the future. right now my travel schedule for my day job is very hectic. you can however, plot the MAF readings with fuel trim manually kind of like how Bernie’s tool does it for you automatically. just use move]ie mode on your scan tool and drive the vehicle. thanks for the support!
