He's a local player where I'm from. I've seen him many times front row. You're right, he's a very humble, nice man. A hell of an unbelievable player. Cool to see him on your podcast. ..you're lucky, you got his slide. All I've gotten is a few of his picks, lol. ..he's a true down home, humble, kind and generous man. We're lucky to have him here. .
Boscoe is a monster. I've played with him once or twice and got to hang out with him on many occasions. We're from neighboring counties in Western Kentucky.
Brad, I looked Boscoe up on your suggestion from the namm video of yours... you’re right he is a monster
Boscoe is great. A real highlight of the last two PRS events. And a real down to earth person. He took the time to have a 5 minute conversation with my 8 year old son who just started guitar. My son was thrilled.
Boscoe is the most humble guy ever, and is a hometown hero to the community
Very cool! I had a chance to jam with Boscoe a couple times. Very humble and nice guy and what a great player!
Boscoe is a great dude. Lives about 25 minutes away from me. Amazing player and even better person.
Love the podcast
I played with him once at a blues society jam session in our sleepy little Kentucky town of Somerset. He is something else.
Awesome guitar playing! Wow!
Very cool! Boscoe is from the same town as me! You can see him playing like this in restaurants all the time.
I enjoy this podcast so much
legit love it dude appreciate all the work put in
He’s 1 of The Best, in many more ways than just Guitar.
Met him a few years ago while doing production in Louisville Kentucky super super nice guy incredible player
Gotta love the humility of this guy!! That was nice! You think Lari Basilio will make her appearance on the podcast soon ? That would be great!!!
So many gems in this!!
That was awesome! Much appriciated
Best podcast
Videos like this is really helpful.. Thanks Tyler 🙏
My favorite Podcast!
THIS WAS GOLD FOR ME
Great guy! Met him at Ish Guitars a couple of weeks ago. Very humble, but an absolute monster player.
Love it!
Great podcast!
That was great man dam you must have been on cloud nine. Good for you I’m stoked you got to have that jam
This guy gets automatic props from me for being a Megadeth fan! Hisnguitar skills and playing are just the icing on the cake.
Nice playing!!!
Everyone can be their own king of blues. Love you tyler :p
Damn, that was a great point about people not comparing artwork life Picasso v. Vangogh. I don't know why music aficionados compare guitarists or bands insisting one is better than another. It is what it is...appreciate it for what it is and not what it's not.
Roy Nichols RUUUUUUULES! SO cool to hear him giving Roy some love! Roy was the MAN!
Great podcast, more more more!
a head cold remedy called coricidan used come in little glass bottles that became very popular with blues players. Notably Duane Allman. looked just like the one you have.
2018 guitar collection!
Great podcast
I know Bosco. Sold him a prs back when I worked at g.c. Evansville, in got screwed in the king of the blues comp in 2011. Fact! 2012 he took it. He's a cool guy. Been years since I've been in the local music scean. Anyway yeah cool guy.
Keep up those videos you know are good. WE are watching ;)
As Kurt Z stated below, but I think worth rementioning it again, Duane Allman used one like that, and the spirit of blues slide and a bit of history there in that bottle type. Not per say that exact one, but its a slide symbol of blues:)
Thanks for this, I’m checking this video cuz Boscoe opened for Samantha Fish at the Lincoln Amphitheatre August 28/21. Please check out Samantha, the Queen of the Blues. I would love to see a video with Samantha Fish. Samantha is also known for her slide playing especially on the Cigar Box Guitar as well as having the Samantha Fish Cigar Box Guitar Festival in New Orleans.
Tyler, most of my watching occurs at work “in the background”. I usually skip lessons because I don’t have a guitar to play. Then I get home and forget about CZcams and just play. Seems like timing is an important variable
I have a 97 CE 24... one of my favorite guitars... the case is battered and covered with stickers from the previous owner (a travelling musician) who had to sell supposedly because of a gambling debt.
Nice vid Tyler!
Love the rotary switch xD
Love the shirt bro😍
King of the blues shall always be the three kings (Albert, Freddie, and B.B.). But I haven’t started the vid yet. So let’s do this
true, and then Peter Green, Clapton, Srv and Gary Moore.
The godfather of the british blues is John Mayall.
vic rattlehead yeah and after watching it I stand by what I said
vic rattlehead great taste there brother!
you guys realize it is a competition that he won, not that he is literally the king of the blues
It was a competition guitar center used to do.
Good interview! I miss the podcasts with you and Bethany, though.
Content wins hearts, not production! Boscoe is a great dude. Enjoyed meeting him at Guitars USA in NC.
Intresting.......podcast
Great Podcast. Also have you ever made your own guitar?
Cool
For an intro, what about "Good morning, good afternoon, or good evening where ever you may be". But it's been done, though I can't remember who by 😅
As a fellow PRS user, what settings do you use on the guitar, amp, and any pedals to get a classic fender strat type tone like Hendrix? Would really appreciate your insight.
That's my nephew ❤❤😍
The King of Blues is still BB King!, But really good and substantiated podcast as always!
And I must ask, is there the possibility of bringing Robert Baker, Rick Graham, or Marty Music on the podcast? I love these guests you bring!
RC32 Marty would be great
Ye he's a really prominent and high quality teacher!
bb king and gary moore :D
RC32 I definitely agree
I'd love to see Marty here, it would be the most exciting crossover since infinity war 😂
I am currently wearing the exact same metallica shirt lol
The King of the Blues is Buddy Guy no doubt about it
👍🤘
That sure looks like a Coricidin bottle. An old cold medicine. When Dwayne Allman broke his elbow and couldn’t play, he wouldn’t see Greg, whose idea it was to go riding.
Duane had a bad cold and couldn’t play & I think it was his birthday so Greg snuck over to Duane’s house and left a bottle of Coricidin and Taj Mahal’s first albums with Jesse Ed Davis playing slide.
Duane phoned him up the next day telling Greg to get over there quickly. Duane soaked the label off the bottle and started using it as a slide. It was a perfect size and a slide guitar legend was born.
Greg Allman still has that same Coricidin bottle he gave Duane that day. I believe Boscoe gave you a a touchstone, a very meaningful token of his appreciation, in the manner of an authentic Kentucky gentleman, understated, dignified, generous and caring.
This was also discussed in the exceptional Documentary, “Muscle Shoals.” A must watch as well as the documentary, “The Wrecking Crew.”
nice shirt
#france
You should listen to a Brazilian band called "Mamonas Assassinas".
They have a song called "1406", it's one of my favorit riffs of history.

Not even close, sir. No where near the same game. His Drummer for over a decade.. The Man has a gift.
Trucks is great, but couldn’t carry Boscoe’s Lunch Box.
Key light is a little hot in this video.
Le croissant
Kinda like "Luke goes to Dagobah," this video is.
Reviewing Blues in a Metallica shirt

The king of blues, John Mayer
I agree with you haha. Great joke buddy.
I agree....... he's the best, even if he took from other influences
i dont get it ._.
Alright I’m going to be serious for a second. Playing the blues isn’t knowing your pentatonic scale all over the neck. Turns out there’s an actual story behind it. BB King is definitely has a say in the blues. The blues comes from a place where John hasn’t set foot on. Back in America when black people where being oppressed and all that Jazz (See what I did there). John Mayer is very capable guitarist (Even Clapton says it) , not a blues-man. Simple as that. Marcel Dadi talks about how he played the blues for B.B. King and yet B.B. King told him that it was just pentatonic scales but lacked the blues. Alright feel free to rage against me, I just spoke my humble opinion.
Fuck that noise.
Yo... who the hell cares who is playing the blues ...or what scale they are playing it in...if it speaks to you...when you have the blues
well then ...they are playing the blues......😎🎸
Pls pin this
You need to take in consideration that the video your wife was in is a attention geter. Every guy loves a blonde. I think that was the attraction and reason for your higher numbers
Boscoe France's a great blues guitarist, but I don't think he's the king of blues. BB King, Albert King, and Freddie King are the kings of blues. The brothers of the kings of blues music are T-Bone Walker, Johnny Winter, Robert Johnson, Lonnie Johnson, Buddy Guy, Roy Buchanan, Albert Collins. The princes are SRV, Gary Moore, Peter Green, Rory Gallagher, Billy Gibbons, Duane Allman, Derek Trucks.
How often do guitar companies, pedal and amp companies, etc give out popular utubers free gear? Why not help a struggling artist that’s not high on the utube list? And yes I have given back. I was a social worker who fed, clothed, gave clients meds, eyeglasses, even teeth pulled with new dentures to a young girl, gifts at holiday times and more food, diapers, referrals to get help for formula etc. I’m not bragging I chose that job but that’s what u do. U give to those in need. All for 4 years in college for less than $10 an hr. C’mon guitar co “cough”PRS. Only giving to the popular makes it more about u. And I don’t care get angry. It’s just my opinion.
Teaching your wife gave me a headache, omg that was painful to watch.
