Though the circumstances of his creation were unusual at best, Wormwood came into this world full of optimism and curiosity, ready to make new friends and see all that life had to offer. But as time wore on and he experienced the cold sting of rejection, he came to learn what the moon above had always known: Wormwood the Lonesome does not belong here.

I love the similarities and differences of Webber and Wormwood, both innocent in a sense but Webber is always together and Wormwood is always alone.

Everyone is talking about how adorable him petting the leaf is but nobody’s mentioning the fact that a single vine is probably the most ineffective blanket imaginable
He’s not very bright , but he’s polite enough
I feel like it’s a comfort thing, since he relates to plants he is attached to them and I guess he thought of the single vine as more comfortable and I mean that is where he came from so I guess you could say he went back to his roots

I like to think that the stone in Wormwood's trailer is a grave and the plant that creeped up from underneath and absorbed the gem assumed a human-esque form because it had previously done the same to the corpse in the grave. In which the person would of been Warbuck as Wormwood replaced him in Hamlet

Honestly, I just want to give Wormwood a huge, HUGE hug. Can you imagine being born into a world where everything you just want to befriend either is scared of you, or out-and-out wants to kill you, and the only friends you have- the plants- you have to kill just to stay alive?

fun fact: wormwood has an unique quote when examining pig meat (the cut human flesh item you could eat) “belly stuff” and another thing is that he doesn’t get damage when eating human flesh (because of traits) so he can eat human flesh without damage unlike the other characters, this actually makes sense because plants use dead human body’s as a way to gain nutrition or something like that

Just thank you SO MUCH for making him free for hamlet owners! I bought wortox today after being really skeptical on wether I should buy him or wait for wormwood. So when he came out I just open the game and poof!! Such an awesome surprise!!!

Now it may just be a little nudge to his origins as a marketing thing and not very canon, but it's interesting to think about

@Savary I said this before they added in warly first off, secondly I was referring to the trailer not the character the trailer shows the hamlet world. In warly's trailer we didn't see the shipwrecked world but if Klei want shipwrecked to be cannon then fine by me. Next time how about you look at when someone says something huh?
