To clarify; you can’t use Launch (cheetah) in Track mode. In Drag strip mode the limiter is at 280 so it’s either high top speed or fast launch
This car can go 350 km/h also but it's limited it has done 347 kph already
Tesla Should completely unlock this car for racers and testers and they should keep locked for normal people

@@Raven16691 yea but driving something with a half steering wheel is not really that good. Especially if you need to make some evasive action or driving for long periods of time. It’s more of a knight rider gimmick than anything else. Full steering wheel is still better and the safest imo.

Still dislike the buttons though, even though I've gotten used to them.

I like that the speedometer actually shows each number as it goes up or down. Most manufacturers just update the number every second or so and it drives me crazy.

@@SchaufelorPlaid is literally SciFi tech compared to anything else on the road... For example they wrapped their rotors in carbon fiber so magnets and all of the components can always be close together and as a result it basically doesn't lose power at higher speeds even, 1000hp @300kmh. Porsche had to use 2 speed gearbox which is the stupidest idea ever in Taycan (more weight, more complexity) and they don't even have a machine which can make motors like these. Porsche also can't make the Octovalve cooling that Plaid has allowing for rapid cooling in a small package and Plaid still has big frunk and more space than basically any car in the size class as a result.
Traction is because of real torque vectoring (two independent motors at rear wheels), other companies except Rimac and Rivian bragging about torque vectoring are basically lying.
I still wonder tho why doesn't Tesla advertise this, if Porsche or Audi had this exact tech in their car, it would cost at least half a million...

As a petrolhead all my life, someone who loves the raw sounds, the thrill of the downshift, everything we associate with "Petrolheadism" i'm left in awe of just how mental these silent sleepers are.
EV makers need to do something to enhance the inverter whine under hard acceleration, just like what they do with ICE engine exhaust notes. Of course every decibel that goes into making sound is energy not going kinetic.
The beauty is, if you drive this thing like a normal car, the efficiency is still there. On gas cars, you either have to choose efficient or fast.
@@KarrasBastomiWell stronger EVs tend to have worse efficiency due to more weight, bigger motors, etc. but yes the tradeoff is not nearly as bad as with petrol engines.

Yes, but depends on which type of bmw...In my x3 sd at 200 km/h tachometer real speed gps is 192 km/h, at medium in low speed at 100 km/h tacho real gps is indicating 96 km/h !

Oh and there were about 3 times more deadly accidents at home as compared to ALL deadly car accidents in 2021.....in other words, it is about 30 times more likely to die at home, than in a car on the Autobahn :)

Don't forget that if you do that with an Audi rs6 you also have a range of about 260km :D.
Reach top speed in any ICE supercar and you can almost see the gas needle moving towards empty. Electrons or dinosaur juice, You need massive amounts of energy to accelerate that amount of mass at those speeds

only problem is that it's not really a good strategy for long distance travel since you'll spend disproportionate amounts of time recharging due to roughly 1 kWh per Km consumption...

The plaid time is at 7.25.231.... with more than 1000 hp...
The XV is a modified version with added aero bits and carbon fibre parts but the normal stock XE still does 7.23.....

That is ludicrously quick. Standing quarter mile in under 10 seconds wow. I have an Audi that does it in around 11.6 seconds and that's on a good day. All though there is no sound of a v8 engine that Tesla is on another level for a road car. It must push you back well into the seat. Great video 👍

Have you seen how much fuel is used by a vehicle that is 1000HP or more even for a short top speed run? Sometimes you can literally see the gauge move slowly.

@@pitbullmukhtar pure nonsense. First of all, an M5 is factory limited to 190mph. At that speed (even more if you remove the limiter) it will easily consume 30l (I bet even more) per 100km.
Driving 300km/h for 10 min translates to 50km distance traveled, meaning roughly 15l fuel burned. It has a 68l fuel tank, meaning you lost about 22% of a full tank.
So.. you lost way more than 30km of range, dude.. and as I said, I bet it needs way more than 30l per 100km to maintain 190mph…
And one last thing. How long will it take until we can end this stupid range discussion? Yeah, fossile fuels have a huge energy density. ICE still have a fricking bad efficiency. Translate that 100kwh battery of the Tesla to fuel (surprise, it’s not the equivalent of 68l of an M5 fuel tank) and then compare it again ..

I had it for a day from tesla, it was scarry all the time and after 1 day of hard drive when i hit the gas i was shocket as the first time. I ve drive a lot of cars but this one is above . The beast is awsome and the car even it has weight in plaid mode is like a leak in the wind the engines throw you like in a jet engine .No one wanted to race me amg, m , rs i was the king for a day 🥳
