Hey magnus so you have a very impressive physique and I was wonder what routine do u have for exercise or do u just climb or a combination
Broo this is literally my climbing gym! If i had known you'd be in town I would've shown up 😪
@@Benjamin-ru2pt if you watch his videos he’s constantly showing what he does to stay fit.
Truly an honor and a privilege climbing with you Magnus 🙏. Thanks for coming to visit us in Las Vegas! Next time, we'll bring you to the Refuge, or better yet, bouldering in Red Rock. This climbing sesh ranks up there as one of the best days of my life. Don't tell my wife, but it's up there with my wedding 😂. Also, no one ever gives you enough credit for your video editing. Sick edit as always! 🙌
should’ve gone to refuge smh
So sick dude!! That one arm pull up thooo 👀
Love all your vids too! You definitely deserve a whole lot more subs for your quality content 😆
Lets gooooo! Great collab homie 💪
dayum bruuu so lucky! i knew this collab was bound to happen
Its so cool seeing Magnus next to 'normal' strong climbers, it just shows how he is just on another level. Beautiful video Magnus, love the trio
For sure, V7-V8 climbers are like the absolute best climbers you encounter in your average gym and then Magnus is just next level
And then seeing him next to Ondra he looks human again :P
@@owievisie man Ondra has no business being as good as he is.
Agreed. These guys would be very solid amateur climbers in a typical experienced group - me and my old guy friends occasionally surprise each other with a V6 send or good V7 attempt, but typically are working V4 and V5 in a fairly graded gym. Seeing the difference on the red V6 route is a good demonstration of the difference in pro-level strength, knowing exactly how to position, beta, etc. Most of us would look like the tall guy - not sure exactly how to start and flailing a lot until you see it done right.
And then you watch the vids with Adam Ondra and you even see there's another league above Magnus. Insanity lol.
Loved the part where Magnus says "we should try to do all the v9s" but what he actually meant was "I'm gonna do all the v9s" 😂😂😂
Let's go!! 🔥🔥 Had an amazing time climbing with you my friend. Next time let's climb outdoors!
I like your energy and vibe!
Love your channel Ozzy!
ur a goon mate
You’re the homie everyone always wants around ✊
So cool that you mentioned the Tokyo climbing gym, I remember that was the first video I found of yours back when you posted it. You've got me into climbing and I'm addicted!!
What style are you climbing?
@@Seraphim262 Mostly indoor bouldering and top rope, but I was living in San Diego this summer so I had the chance to do some lead climbing and outdoor bouldering
One thing that really stands out to me in Magnus' videos is how positive, supportive and encouraging the climbing community is.
Everybody is cheering each other on and trying to get the best out of each other. No machismo, pettiness or over-competitiveness. Just good vibes!
climbing community is probably one of the most elitist sports communities out there. that is outdoor though. indoor climbing is very social and nice
@@giacomocasanova2893 Sounds like you need to find a new crag. Everywhere I climb on the west coast of the US is super supportive and friendly.
You actually experience those things as much as other sports I've found, honestly
@@friendswithbenedicts9753 Sadly, my local gym was very elitist and rude and I stopped going after a handful of times. It was one of the most unpleasant environments I'd ever encountered and I chose not to go there ever again.
@@bensmith3304 My crag is pretty hard sketchy climbing with more than 60 years of history. some gatekeeping is expected, comparable to a famous wave in surfing.
LMAO. Andy is simply listed as route setter, not owner of hold company (Menagerie), shaper for other brands (Nicros), route developer (Potosi, Charleston, etc.) and dude who has climbed 9a and countless double digit boulders. I'm sure he didn't want to be the center attention (good midwestern kid at heart) but this is all too much. Hahaha
Andy is the most chill dude ever. Doesn't take things too seriously, doesn't hype himself up, always tells it like it is, but is still a quirky, funny dude that loves talking about books.
He does so much (like you mentioned) but he's so non-chalant about it you almost forget what a beast he is.
One of the coolest people to work for.
Explains the grading
The amount of excitement I felt when he was able to do that yellow V7! That's always such an awesome feeling, and it goes to show how far a little encouragement goes. Awesome video!
I absolutely agree. People like you, are what makes the bouldering community sooo wholesome! :)
@@JustHoldIt539 put it back in your pants grandma
I like how in every video whenever Magnus takes his shirt off, the music changes. It's like he enters his super saiyan mode 🔥💪
Was anxiously waiting for this video!! Rockentry probably has the most insightful videos for learning and improving. Definitely helped me loads when I just started getting into climbing!
seeing Magnus interact with other creators always reminds me how humble/down to earth the man is: it's refreshing how stripped of bravado and posturing he is compared to even his friends.
The chemistry here is amazing I need more of this trio
Miguel Climbs in a Magnus video!? The best unexpected collab 💪💪
🤩
i think i've said this before, but thank you for putting the font bouldering grades next to the v grades on every climb!! i can t get myself to make sense of the v grade system, no matter how many us based information i consume, so thank you! for making it reference-able!
I went to a climbing gym for the first time a couple of days ago! It was a really great experience and fun!!!
Nice. Keep crushing it 💪
Same… Inspired by Magnus… To anyone wondering if you’ve never tried it before - Just do it - it is a lot of fun and a great workout 👍🏼
You guys got along so good, it was like watching childhood friends on an adventure.
I saw that foot jam on the pink v9, Pete is super proud of you right now! Also new challenge for you to try with strong climbers Magnus, campusing without it looking like you're campusing. They did it recently on the TAMY Climbing Channel and it's right up your alley!
“I think I need to bring my-“
“Hips closer to the wall yah”
Funny to hear that still is a problem at the high levels
Always a pleasure to see @rockentry and miguel in your channel ❤
YAY! I live in Vegas and I love your videos. What an ABSOLUTE DELIGHT to wake up to this:))) Great video as always Magnus! This place is a great gym. Living in Vegas, especially in the height of summer, indoor options are essential (at least for me!)
It's amazing to see you all together! It would be great to see Magnus going to the Refuge with Miguel next!!
Just rewatched one of the old lead climbing videos, and it's so much fun, hope we see more in the future. As always keep up the great work, this video was🔥!!
wow i found these guys the other day and watched some of their vids. Crazy seeing you with them just a few days after!
keep up the great work
That V7 climb was so great to watch, so much support I loved every second of that climb.
Love the hard climbing videos, amongst friends. They may be vanilla but they're exciting for many of us!
While I enjoyed the video, one thing I liked about the Tokyo video was that they didn't seem to know you were coming. While it's probably difficult given your popularity, in this video it seemed like they were expecting you so you had a presentation compared to a normal climber's first experience. While I doubt it happened, it could also affect your honest review of a route since the owners of the gym are right next to you. Still enjoyed the video though!
Oswaldo is totally starstruck here, it's so cute to watch
I am loving the videos Magnus! You brought something up in passing in this video that I would love to hear you go more in depth about. You mentioned how one of the climbers was fully crimping and you asked if he had been injured. I am working towards climbing upper 5.12s and I just had a finger injure (from monos). I am wondering what your thoughts are on finger training/care - should I always avoid full crimps, even when projecting climbs over my onsight ability? I'd love to hear what works for you. Cheers, and thanks for the good content.
Magnus is a freakishly talented athlete and a highly skilled climber. Great combination. His athleticism tranates to other sports such as gymnastics
"I'm trying to stay away from Alex Honnold. The further away, the better." 🤣🤣🤣👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
I’m about 50 videos deep into your channel and am starting to think I should try climbing one of these days
Wow! I go to this climbing gym. According to the Mrs., I was "fanboying" when watching this. "I did that route! And you did that same was as Magnus!"
It's crazy how Magnus is just flying into everything...
You should see the amount of training he does, that might explain why he's so consistent in his climbs
omg the mirrored wall was amazing!! never thought of that, but totally makes sense for helping you find where your strengths are weaker on certain sides!
Most boards have a mirrored wall
@@ascotter haven’t seen one yet! can’t wait til I do!
@@noodlebanana7512 they’re really cool!
Climbing is the most entertaining thing that I have ever sucked at. :D I love your videos, Magnus, keep up the excellent work inspiring others.
The jazz songs in the back make the whole video so smooth, great edit Magnus !
D'oh!!! I missed Magnus at the gym?! I'd have loved to meet him and say thanks for all the great content he makes. Watching his videos is what got me started climbing 2 years ago. Still super cool to see a video with him in my local gym!
This was so fun to watch that it felt too short. Great video!
The way Magnus climbs compared to other climbers is that he’s so clean with his moves, and the beta he does is just impossible to me😂😂
So happy to see @rockentry here!!!
‘You told me not to use it’ 😂😂
You looked like you had a lot of fun, great to watch! Hope to see more of this type of content
I don't remember how I found the channel, but I'm obsessed. Great content and great vibes from Magnus. I'm having a good time.
Nice vid. Showing love from the Refuge climbing gym
I love the chemistry! This trio is amazing!
I took Magnus advice and when I couldn't make it up a boulder, just throw yourself at it and then come back two days later. Flashed it the next time. Thanks man. Super helpful.
Love this video! You all were in such good spirits and made this look like an amazing, fun time.
That’s crazy to thing Miguel helped design the guitar building in Miami , I watched his channel way before any of these other guys because I got into slack lining , then got into climbing now. I am from Miami and can actually see the light from the guitar building from the gyms in ft lauderdale
such a cheeky invideo ad at 10:55 hahaha thanks for your content as always!!
Love seeing the colab with Rockentry
Such an awesome collaboration to see, I watch all three of your channels!
Your partners of the day are genuinely nice guys! Good fun too.
The magic of Magnus's "come on"
Miguel and Ozzy are 2 cool dudes. I don't usually watch indoor climbing video's but these 2 guys had great energy and made this so fun to watch. Ozzy is crazy in a good way and Miguel is super chill
I was literally thinking this morning that what if they did a climbing video in Vegas and it just happened that’s insane
13:50 climbing with the right encouragement just makes you plain stronger. It's crazy
Good to See Miguel hangin out with you. Letss gooo
Love the US content! Love all the content of course, but it's fun seeing you stateside! Offer still stands to show you Arizona climbing whenever you're back out in the states and not completely booked out.
Love Miguel and his videos, not a collab I was expecting!
Me and my wife quit climbing while she's pregnant, and I unsubbed from all the climbing channels I follow OTHER THAN magnus.
He's by far the best. The reason I started climbing. An inspirational role model. And just really fun to watch, separate from the climbing.
Hope you and your wife restart climbing, perhaps bringing your baby as well🎉
Why did you quit, out of solidarity to not make your wife jealous whenever you go to the gym?
awesome video!! so cool to see you collabing with more climbing CZcamsrs!! Would be awesome to see you do a vid with Ross and Tim some time!
The "MagWall" at the end was a surprise. Magnus V15 Boulder Challenge 💪
Route setter is Magnus from Wish
that rolling board is awesome! Never seen something like that before
I really don't get the topping in American gyms. The last hold is almost always the flat top of the wall rather than a tricky hold or a small pinch or a dodgy sloper or something.. It just rules out so much creativity and difficulty.
New hairstyle is sooo awesome!! 🔥🔥🔥 And the video is as always 😌👌🏻
Those outdoors boulders in Las Vegas look sick
As someone who moved to Vegas from somewhere else, I opt to not have a membership to a gym because i genuinely think the gyms here are just not worth it. The Pad is super clean and friendly, but the grades are all over the place and the quality is never consistent either. Refuge has great setting but there isnt much thought that goes into hold selection and is expensive for being so dingy. The gyms are rated in the vacuum of sub-par climbing gyms.
THIS IS MY CRY TO YOU MAGNUS!!! Open a solid gym here please :)
Perfect timing as I'm planning my first trip to Vegas!
The product placement was on point @10:40! 😂
It’s honestly hilarious seeing Magnus absolutely destroy some of the problems I’m protecting
Wow, hanging by the feet. Simply amazing work Magnus!
I couldnt contain myself when Magnus said "I want to get as far away from Alex Honnold as possible" 😂😭
Messy top and clean sides hair really good on Magnus
Magnus is the only man I will ever be even slightly attracted to
“I’m trying to stay away from Alex”. First real admission of the realization that his intro to fee climbing was definitely taxing.
It's nice to see the return of the old haircut from young youtuber Magnus at his beginings !
It always amazes me how well Magnus floats on the wall when others struggle lol
There is so much outstanding climbing outside in Vegas. Also lots of too hot weather. Easy to understand why the gym climbing is more focused on training and keeping fit for outside.
It allways nice to see magnus climb with other then you can see better how good he is. It looks so easy for him :-)
One of my favorite videos. Looked like fun the entire time!!
Magnus you have a perfect batting average with videos, no misses yet, always a homerun.
These all look like such interesting climbs. You are all great!
Fun time watching the three of them, fun in training is a good thing.
Looked like a foot crack move on that pink between the two volumes 😀
This eminates all the things I love about bouldering
Watching Magnus flash v9s is such a treat.
The Magdust bit was incredible!
Excellent as always! Welcome to the USA. I hope it is an enjoyable visit.
Yessss new video an hour before I go climb
Cool to see a video with Rockentry!
Great video as always! It would be cool to see how your gyms are doing and what a normal day in your gyms look like. Love from Denmark 😊
What a great video showcasing other incredible climbers!
Loved this video! The two dudes seemed genuinely interested in having Magnus there 🙌🙌
I really don't know why I started watching this channel but it's really addicting lol.. I've never climbed and not actually planning to do so but I keep watching 😆
Can we please get some lead climbing. 🙏 There has got to be plenty of people who enjoy watching it.
So hard to tell how strong Magnus is until he climbs with people that climb a full v-grade higher than me and god damn it it looks so easy. I thought I had a chance but I don't.
He could campus all my projects and probably run up all the slabs too.. In crocks..
Magnus got his style on point now
Didn’t even try the worlds only commercial D woods board?!? With Andy Raether?!?!
Very awesome to see Magnus at my home gym! Was sad to see we didn't have anything hard enough for him :(
You should really try out Red Rock Climbing Center. It's an old, but amazing gym! The layout is unlike most other gyms and the features are cool!
