Me 3

Me..... D'oh!
Me too 😋
Me 6!
This 5% of ladies are very important bro! 🤗
At least 40k ladies!🙃
Haha that's true! Andreas will have his inbox flooded
@@magmidt everyone deserve to be happy!🤘😊
Look at the math guy
@@JaredTG. Math guys are the true underdogs here (5% speaking here. And no maths girl)
@@RiesenWuschel no maths girl? Not true. I'm one (MSc in applied mathematics, currently doing a PhD in mathematics education) and I know of more who watch this channel
Magnus: “I’m going to coach them.”
Also Magnus: “They should figure stuff out on their own.”
🤣🤣🤣
College Professors lmao
Something about a real tutor only shows you the path.. and the rest I forget lol
Then proceeds to tell them the solution to the problem lol
I'm that way with climbing problems, unless i've tried something over and over and just can't get it, i don't like people giving me beta, i like to figure it out on my own, that's part of the fun for me.
@@zackreynolds8237 University teachers are way worse lol.
Andreas when he sees any boulder: "This is my type of boulder!"
And then he fails everyone of them. Not too much sense for the body. oO
that mma fighter mentality. doesnt matter the problem, i got this
and it never is
09:08 rip Magnus high five :(
A backflip is probably the best way to get rejected tho
@@smalbeaste better than getting flipped off when looking for a high five
Me watching Odin do a backflip in aggressive downturned shoes: 😦
... and then Odin did a backflip, broke the bad guy's neck and saved the day.
@@Gieslly It was super easy, barely an inconvenience
Pretty disappointed that he left Magnus hanging there.
Not to mention doing a flat-ground flip is twice as hard on a super soft pad like that
I have more aggressive shoes, it’s no problem! The shoes are not stiff :D
Magnus always underestimates the difficulty. He’s like “you guys should be able to do this”, after flying through it. Both of them couldn’t do it😂
I think because Magnus is a bit less polished and more freestyle than most climbers of his caliber, he tends to vastly underestimate the level of technique involved. He knows his friends are strong physically, and he kind of assumes that should be enough.
I guess once you do something until it’s easy for you, you start to forget how hard it was to get to that point. For Magnus it’s all just automatic muscle memory, common sense and unexplainable intuition that gets him through, and if he can’t verbalize what makes it hard, he assumes it must just be strength and grit…
That’s just classic Magnus underestimating himself, and devaluing how absolutely beastly he actually is.
i would say when you are very good at something for a long time, there are certain aspects of the skill that you take as intuitive that others are not even close to considering on their own. thats why I think some of these guys smash the more physical bits, if they are strong and struggle on the technical stuff unless they are a gymnast or some other profession. Also when you are only doing hard routes, a lot of the routes will seem easy no matter how hard they are to the average person
Grip is simply something you don't get unless you train it specifically, no matter what kind of sport you do. This is the biggest overlook he has. When I saw the inclined blue 6 I thought ''there is no way they will do it''. On top of that, the MMA guy is way too heavy to perform well especially since a lot and I mean a lot of his weight is also on his legs which lead you to swing like a flag for most of the movements.
Seeing Magnus chalk up every 12 seconds is the only thing that keeps me motivated during the pandemic!
Its almost tempting to buy chalk just to be able to chalk up att home
Sometimes I wonder how much chalk he has wasted by chalking up extra heavy and then just clapping and brushing the excess off.
It doesn’t seem like a lot, but I bet if you collected it all up over a few years it would be entire chalk bags full... More, even! I’d say he probably wastes about half of all the chalk he buys…
Wait are Magnus and I the only two that rechalk after the second move? I mean more chalk = more power. It's Science.
If the chalk comes off you gotta put it back on. There always seem to be particular holds that just soak up the chalk
Really? That's the ONLY thing keeping you sane during covid? If so you gotta find some better motivators, loll. Talk about major fanboy-ing.
A Climber, a Gymnast, and an MMA Fighter walked into a gym. When they were done, no one walked out.
The Climber climbed out
The Gymnast flipped out
And the Fighter kicked out
the climber topped out, the gymnast flipped out and the fighter knocked out.
The fighter made everyone tap out
lmfao
The Fighter tapped out
Fighter tapped out XD
When climbing for the first time yesterday, it’s was the best day ever, now my arms are just in pain
Do they feel like jello
Give them a break, but keep going after at least 3-4 days. It will feel mich better after like 2-3 weeks and the pain goes away! :) Welcome to the climbing scene!
@@hioh8716 the gym is 1 hour 20 min away but it’s worth it
Ahhh I really miss that (everything is closed over here since like 5 months)
I remember the very first time I went climbing with a friend. I've always been a bit scared of heights and it's surprising how well you can grip when you're scared. By the time we finished about an hour later my weedy forearms looked like Popeye's from all the lactic acid. I had heard about climbers' forearms getting pumped but I'd never realised what it felt like. My forearms felt rock hard.
Those 3 have really good chemistry. Jokes all around was nice to watch.
Now I must see Odin showing the kids how it's done
Agree
You should film oden in the trampoline park that would be awesome.
Agree
"Its all made out of one piece of wood" I assume you mean a different thing than what that would mean, cause otherwise I want to see that GIGANTIC original tree 😂😂
It must be made from Yggdrasil from Norse mythology. They turned it into a climbing playground.
@@TheRainyVids Or a wroshyr tree from Kashyyyk :D
I think he wanted to say that it’s one continuous structure. Not several separate stations/challenges/obstacles.
Magnus talking about feeling "out of tune" is super relatable, actually. I hate taking time off just to come back and feel like a newborn giraffe with no body control.
The difference is he still makes it look effortless. Great vid, Magnus!
meanwhile i return to the climbibg gym after 4 months and climb a grade higher than before
5% crew here!
I just love seeing magnus written as "mongoose" in the subtitles.
I would like to give a huge shout out to Tom And Juji for bringing the great Magnus into my life. Much love from Texas 🤘
And Anton
Whenever im lacking in motivation i just watch Magnus' and Anton's videos. Great athletes and people
Thats a part of the beauty of their channel.
@@JaredTG. I couldn't agree more.
Unfortunate that Tom turned out to be a snake.
@@arthurpenndragon6434 Tom is suffering from addiction. Talking bad about people is not funny.
went to my 1st climbing gym last night, I now understand how insane magnus really is
video idea: regular climbing day
Hey Magnus! Can you do one hour long video compilation of you just chalking up
I'm part of the 5% :)
I might be a part of the 5% but I'm also a lesbian, so that doesn't help Andreas
Haha, his options grow smaller
Pfft. Lesbians are holograms. Sorry to tell you.
@@TheBcoolGuy 😔😔😔
@@TheBcoolGuy ???
@@TheBcoolGuy I wonder who just got rejected by a lesbian lol
I’m a beginner and Magnus always makes those slick volumes look like jugs with how solid of a grip he gets on them. Then when I see them in person I always wonder how tf he just casually grabs them
Climbing is just like MMA. Just picture the wall as being sentient, where the holds move and hit you while you were trying to climb, and the wall actively trying to kill you.
Magnus' videos keep me hyped for when my gyms open up again.
God, i miss climbing gyms :,(
The chemistry between the three of you is magic!
I love that their top level is literally V9-V15. That's such a comically large range
They're like 'everything past this point is just hard as fuck, good luck'.
You should collaborate with storror, would be pretty sick to see them try climbing
I think atleast Toby Segar does a little climbing.
i'm pretty sure they should stick to just climbing though, cause knowing about Magnus and his ways to commit 1769% he will probably end up getting hurt in parkour :D
@@oldi6btm6t9d4 Toby is actually quite good at climbing. You can see it in videos from the Bobats.
@@llnnea LOL! I've watched the Storror and BoulderingBobat channels separately and I totally forgot that Toby's in a lot of their videos.
or with strongmans like eddie hall and haftor björnosn
I went bouldering twice years ago but I've been watching your videos all through out the pandemic and you inspired me to start bouldering regularly 2-3x a week the past few months. Keep it up!
How's the bouldering going?
@@tarnishedanachronism4914 had to learn the importance of warming up the hard way via some recurring injuries like tendonitis. All good now though and still loving it.

Woo! Andreas is back👏🏻 more mma stuff with him please👊🏼
I love Odins cheeky smiles to the camera
Odin: "Oh this is like a nipple"
Magnus: "You just have to match it"
Odin: *squeeze* "....milk it"

I boulder as much as i can, and magnus always helps me get motivated!
I didn’t realize how much I had missed your positive attitude and the sense of teamwork you bring with your guests. Thank you for your content.
Can't wait for my climbing gym to open up again and notice how much I suck at climbing in comparison to all your videos lol
The way he just floated up that blue snake-like boulder was absolutely insane.
Cool to see Andreas back in the vids 😃😃!
Agreed, the mma videos were one of my favourites
i love being able to watch 30 minute videos from you. makes me feel like im part of the climbing :) i appreciate your content keep it up
Can Magnus saying “Big Boy” be my new ringtone?
Can you time stamp it?
@@robbyedits4407 7:10 🎵
Edit: maybe 7:09 is better
Lol
seeing 2 extremely fit man struggle with those really does put magnus abilities in perspective
This was a lot of fun to watch. Loved the cameraderie and how you also actually talked how much is about technique, when the three of you would probably come close to eachother in pure strength tests.
Watching Magnus climb is like watching someone with spidey senses, he almost in slow motion stretches out and finds the balance before moving forwards its phenomenal to watch!
been loving these videos with Odin! He' a great personality!
The new gym looks like an amusement park! Man I wish there was a place like this when I was growing up
I am surprised you did not have them do some easier climbs. I find that finishing climbs is good for encouragement. Makes for a better head space for attempting harder stuff.
They look like they're having so much fun as friends. Magnus always has such wholesome videos :)
Awesome video Magnus. I felt you explained more in this one and even for me as rookie climber it was great to understand how you think when you try something and it doesn’t work, how you figure out the other ways and so on.
Love the easy-going humor between these three!
its great just watching you guys have fun and banter back and forth!
Loved this - thanks so much guys!🤗
These videos are so good, the gymnast and the mma fighter are both quality! Would love to see more of you three doing climbing and gym and mma together. And we can see if your stamina for grappling has gotten any better!
+ Maybe you and gymnastics guy can vs each other ?
Music editing was great today, and subverted my expectations into thinking Magnus was going to get to the top and then didn’t. Loved it. Thanks for yet another great video!
Can also confirm that Odin’s channel, even without the subtitles is also fun. I watched one where he learns women’s gymnastics the other day, and just enjoyed the Norwegian (which I definitely don’t speak!).
Wasn't expecting to see my local climbing gym on youtube today. Good stuff!
Really good vid Magnus! I love the chemistry in this group
As a climber and an MMA fighter myself, this video gives me great joy to watch. These are two of the best sports to cross train one another with.
no one's gna talk about the v9-v15 range lol ?? seems a "bit" wide
It's probably because the setters are setting over their own level. Just an open grade from 7c(V9) and greater
it's just like saying v9 and up
Just look at Odin!!! 7:48
Literally all of us watching Magnus climb
Thats my local gym! Had to buy a rugne t shirt the other day since I forgot a t shirt at home
Where is it?

Love these vids.
Very nice to see Andreas again, also the chemistry between the three is wonderful
Great video Magnus! Love this type of content 👌
The mma fighter is actually hilarious he made me laugh so much
So cool seeing you climb in my lokal gym, and seeing you try the problems I have tried
Er det ikke dyrt å gå der vanligvis?
Det er litt dyrt, men drar dit så ofte (når det ikke er stengt) så har klippekort, syntes det er grei pris, men kan være litt dyrt for fek studenter
Ok takk for svar!
you should teach beginners flagging and body positioning, I've found that just a simple explanation of flagging can help a lot !
😍
🤔 hmmm... must be more than jusr 5% 👠
I'm HIGHLY disappointed that that via ferrata course wasn't shown 100% That is so cool and I wish we had a gym like this in the NW US
I'm really loving these collaborations its really awesome 😁
I never would have imagined an indoor via ferrata would exist
There a fair few about.
Their via ferrata lanyards look like total crap.
i really love watching u coach and its clear to see ur benefit in the way u do it. love
Amazing Video as always.
magnus' videos are what keeps me motivated to train at home!
Every time I watch these videos I always think, "hmm Magnus did that so easily it must not be too hard", then I see others try the same thing with much difficulty and I realize again how good Magnus is
Really interesting how all these different athletes go climbing, would love to see you with a bodybuilder and strongman to compare too! Keep the great videos comming my Man!
Magnus, when you have guests you gotta start with the lower grades and build confidence. I don't think you let Andreas climb one boulder he could top out on.
i know!! i think maybe he’s been climbing for so long he doesn’t realize how not developed the small hand muscles are in people who don’t normally climb
Magnus should make a video training jiu jitsu
Actually pretty impressive that they do 6b or even higher boulders, considering they don't climb a lot. I have seen a lot of really strong and lean people struggling on WAY simpler boulders. 6b already requires a lot of technique and/or finger power, which people that don't climb typically don't have.
Don't gymnasts do ring and rope stuff I think that's a lot of grip
"When you stick a move like that, you get so confused cuz you didn't expect to stick it."
Relatable.
This looked like alot of fun! I don't climb often, but this makes me want to go with friends. Good vibes!
Odin is so young he still associate a nipple with milk. Such innocence!
Its always fun to see Magnus hanging out with people. 🤩
Fun team dynamics! Very enjoyable to watch :)
Great to see Andreas back in some videos!
Love these vids
"It's like a nipple, milk it." Odin has some jokes, I love it. These collaborations are great to watch because of the comradery and different professions.
Would love to see more episodes of you teaching these guys to be better climbers.
Love seeing the both of them in your videos
Wow. I made the 5% Magnus Club! The thing is Magnus is fun to watch climb, he's powerful and careful. The explosive speed climbers, as well as the 9c stars, are about swearing, falling, screaming, and maybe we actually get to see hands-on the rock or gym holds. I also love these vids with people from different sports --- especially when Magnus and these others talk about what works, how it feels, what went wrong, even the fear, and how they're going to be sore tomorrow. And, kudos to the various people who film for Magnus and everyone who edits.
Would love to see this team take on some adventures
Fantastic edit!!!
Cool to see videos at different gyms again!
Cool video. That obstacle course idea was amazing. Odin K should definitely train more in climbing gyms - he is supple and very strong and once he has some experience of climbing moves and holds he will be a very good climber. Pity he could not go for a weekend with the crew in Stockholm (Emil, Nikken etc) as he would fit in v well.
part of the 5%, but across the world sorry to lower the % even more...
that transition at the beginning was so smooth!!! I loved it xD
Love your videos!
Magnus - "There's very little chalk on the top holds, so I don't think many people have gotten to the top."
Also Magnus - Thinks: Let me take take care of that
Cut to Magnus digging deep in the chalk bag.
Great channel Magnus. Your skill level is just perfect, we can see a high level of fluidity and ease, but we also see your struggle to improve. It's a great lesson in mastering any skill.
He's a god level climber. You think there's people that breeze through these making it look easy? That might be 1 climber on the entire earth.
@@jonathanmosher72 I don't think he is the best, and I don't think he has ever claimed to be. Why do you think he is?
@@jonathanmosher72 Delusional.
aw man guys... I miss climbing.
I'm not an avid sports woman. but climbing really got me, when I started. It's just so much fun - the mix of coordination - puzzling stuff out, strenght, overcoming fear and exploiting every last bit of strenght to overcome an obstacle.
and when you eventually manage... haw. one of the most liberating things ever.
The 'other athletes from different sports' try climbing videos are hands down my favourites skooòoosh
