I was a defensive halfback in high school 😁 I played for the Buena Vista Demons way back in 92! I was actually pretty good too, then I messed my knee up so I couldn’t play anymore after that. I’ll never forget it tho! Good times 💯 #43 all day!!

the only time when the call changes for you is if it's zone or man so if you're still in high school younger it doesn't really matter because you're going to be playing man defense all the time as a DB

Listen to your coach, this video skips a lot of the finer nuances to playing DB. Most importantly....if you have the ability....watch lots of film of your opposing team and study offenses and defences. Know how your team does things, how your opponent does things and predict tendances before and during the game. Build up your overall football IQ. Also, work on your psychological, trash talking game. No better way to break an offense than to have quick qips about how must faster, stronger and prepared you are and how soft, sorry, trash , garbage they are...even if they are winning, still talk smack😂
