    FYI: An EV battery is mostly graphite and aluminum. (Although there's a lot of other stuff in it including plastics.) 1.3 million tons of graphite is mined per year. About 0.03% of Oil. Do we tend to focus on Lithium? 🤷‍♂️ Plus, I've heard something about sodium batteries. All these things are what you would call commodities.

    Kicked out of bolivia due to unprofessionalism...
    The company humbly acknowledges it was 10 minutes late in submitting its final report (12:10 am, May 16, 2022), and YLB has indicated that this missed deadline was the reason EnergyX was disqualified from the evaluation process,” EnergyX said in the release.

    Teague is quite an interesting person with his adventurer style of life and clothing to boot, but from his dialogue with Jesse, he does seem to have a good combination of vision and in-depth technical knowledge. I also like that he’s quite a tough guy, with a Teflon like skin and all, because he’s going to be going through tough times ahead to reach good profitability.

      He implicitly described himself as "the weak one" of his "adventure travel" group of friends. This was years ago (when he was younger & less responsible).
      He is "just like Elon"... except that he is not a genius.

    It's smart to sell shares to individuals because those shares are sold at a lot higher valution. The company valution is already very inflated, it remains to be seen what kind of returns wil produce when the stock is sold at $9.

      There is no real need... as long as Chile & Argentina "behave" (letting extract everything as fast as possible).
      -> Any attempt to "close the whole triangle" (like Bolivia already did with their portion) will result in the rest of the planet (China & USA working together! cats & dogs! mass hysteria!) physically invading the place like if it was the 19th century [since it is cheaper than extracting only the other 25% global Lithium].

    I don't get it why this channel isn't really addressing the harm of lithium drilling and what it does to communities that live where the drilling occurs. I am open to being wrong, I may have missed dangers being discussed with this interview. Just like the Tesla investor meeting in 2023 video where 2 women of color asked Tesla to stop drilling on their land as it's harming the residents. I guess they don't care about humanity, just about profit. Is Lithium renewable? Is Teague Egan aware of how to limit toxic byproducts? I heard nothing about safety of environment and resources moving forward. All I hear is money, what about the responsibility to renewable resources, keeping water, air and ground clean and provide the ability to renew. Or we are just doing the same thing we are doing with oil. Depleting the resources at a huge rate by applying the same behavior that asks us to be innovative. How is it innovative? I simply want to understand.

      @chrisRevGenetics Před 3 měsíci +1

      I see the FUD being said, not knowing that batteries are recyclable, that this is a way smaller footprint from current manufacturing facilities, that you have to try stuff in this “laboratory setting” because it’s not commercially viable, yet… this is the whole premise of discovery new ideas and proving them, that big oil tries to insert FUD into the competition. “Don’t crack the egg, you’ll dirty the whisk… before making an omelet” mentality does not help

    • @adolfodef
      @adolfodef Před 3 měsíci +1

      Even if it was that bad (it is not); the simple fact that THE FATE OF HUMANITY® metaphorically depends on this... makes the massive exodus & destruction of the cultures of groups of natives from Bolivia a small price to pay.
      -> The World simply can not Survive this century without that 75% Lithium global reserve.
      But as long as both Chile & Argentina do NOT attempt to "block" all international "as fast as possible" mining exploitation, the "rest" of the stuff on Bolivia can wait a few more decades as "The Reserve™".

    • @TSLApilot
      @TSLApilot Před 3 měsíci +1

      Do you mean lithium mining? Or drilling? I think you are missing the point of DLE. One of the advantages of DLE is that you pump up a brine, filter out the lithium, and pump the bring back into the ground where you found it (minus the lithium). …look at the plans that E3 lithium is working on in Canada.
