- I can never seem to finish one project before starting another. This morning I came across a deal for some 3.07 carriers that I just had to jump on. I better get ready for their arrival cause I just gotta go FAST!
Trey, thank you for showing us your projects!
My projects always start while working on another. Endless Adventures !
LOL. Another good one. When you put the caps back on use a thin layer of RTV and torque them to 20 ft/lbs. :D
Perfect! You have a very watchable genera going here... it's rough, a little crude, and informative... I like it!!! Keep it up! I'll keep watching. Great info, especially for us little guys with only 4-wheel drive. :-D
BTW... how does one pronounce your last name? Just like the country? Different?
@@HelicoolsHelipad yup like the country
(insert mind blown imogi here) I've been procrastinating my gear swap but this makes me think I can change out the rears without removing the wheels or hubs. My question is do you think the front axels will come out far enough (until the u-joint bump up against the hub) to change out the front pumpkin?
You can easily do the rears without taking any of the wheel/hubs apart. You can do the front in a similar fashion but it's a little more involved because you have to take the brakes apart. Hub still stays in one piece. I have successfully pulled all 3 pumpkins just haven't make a video on it yet.
Way to go Brett Hart !!!
Oh you haven't even seen my final form...just wait ;)
What vehicle did the 3.07 come out of?
What is your new Max mph?
Did this swap give you more cruise speed?
The 307s are out of an MRAP. My current top speed is about 55mph. This swap should bumps me up to 65-70mph
It's going to do alot better without the Planetary Axles.
lmfao great info and better entertainment ! lol
